I see more Monarchs than Swallowtails so this was a welcome visitor to my Bottlebrush bushes this afternoon.

Great detail in the download and very well done. I love the

Lovely series Dennis...really makes me miss spring in the South...I can almost smell the heavenly fragrance of the Wisteria!

How much later will it be there before spring fully breaks? Dennis

No wonder I can't breath, the pollen is out there, your yard is beautiful.

Thank you and the pollen is awful here. My truck is supposed to
be white not yellow. Dennis

very nice still to cold here in nj

Thanks, we hope we are in the full spring pattern and won't
see any more cold weather. I would hate to have the frost
ruin my fruit trees. Dennis

Nice look at spring blooming plants.
Your red thorny bush is a flowering quince, also known as japonica. I have several, started from plants at my grandparents' house. Mine is also in bloom, although not as heavily as other years because it also bloomed during a warm spell this winter.

Thanks, the same thing happened with ours this is the second
time also. Dennis

I went out in my yard this cloudy cold windy morning to try
some shots at my blooming bushes and trees. I was using F18
and F22 to see how the surrounding areas around the blooms
would stay in focus. I have several bushes that was planted for
the berries for bird feed. I don't know their names so I will list
them as Bird Berry Bushes. 1DX 24-105L Lens Tripod. It was and still is windy here. mdh

What makes this a "bird garden"? {in my area, we stop seeing many birds, even at a feeder, once the snow is gone and they can find their own food where ever}

It is an area that I set up to attract birds so I can photograph
them and make it look natural. I don't want my shots just to
be captured while on a feeder. Here are three photo's of it. I
keep feed out year round and water also. When summer gets
here I have my Humming Birds use the same are plus other
trees in the yard. I have Blue Bird houses on a lot of my fence
corner posts. I plant bushes that have bird berry's in the back
yard also. Dennis
