I have just polished my credit card and i'm off to the London camera exchange. To do it!

I bit the bullet, instead of buying a car, I got the D800 and new glass, gave my old DX to a good cause, My Son!

Loving it to bits. steap learning curve, but hey never to old to learn.

I think this guy had eaten his fill. This was really taken as a reflection/landscape rather than a bird shot. But hey it works both ways I think

I shot this as I left a hide, the wren is a pretty nifty bird so I had no time to compose the shot. Sorry for the out of focus/hazy branch in shot.

I now use to retailers from there on-line site wex.co.uk and Digitalrev.com the latter has just supplied my d800 and lenses.
It does mean a little more research, but hey not a problem if it saves me money.

Never been a fan of Jessops. Never found the level of stock for my camera very good, They just never really got there for me, as sad as it is. But i think it is more to do with the changing world than business structure, every one uses camera phones now, even me, on occasions.

I would rather not start a big debate on this issue. But what I can say is: I recently moved from DX to FX (FF) and absolutly love it.

Nice capture but I believe that the bird is correctly called a Great Blue Heron.
