maybe because it's ok for men to be critical about women but not so much the other way around. After a while it gets offensive, kidding or not.
hopefully his looks continue to carry him because there's not much going on upstairs.
I shoot Nikon but my friend has a 60D and it handles higher ISO's pretty well. If that's the camera that's in your budget it's a good choice. Definitely get a good prime lens, such as a 35mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.4/1.8, whatever is in your budget.
I just got an iphone a few weeks ago and I find myself taking photos with it more than I ever thought I would, just out of pure convenience. They are all snapshots anyway. For serious stuff, I will always get out my D700.

I was hoping to use Costco for personal prints but they have been inconsistent. Last time I printed there everything was green.
I had given up on Mpix a while back but I decided to order from them a few weeks ago through the pro site and the color wasn't bad. But, I had some wallets printed (8) and 4 came out fine, the other 4 were off center.
I'm curious who qualifies as a 'real photographer'?
Yes, cats do smile.
And yes, they sleep A LOT. Except at night....ha ha ha ha
I am considering getting a manual macro lens. I figure I focus manually when I do macro anyway, so I won't miss anything. :) Have fun with your lens!
If I had a crop sensor, I couldn't live without my 35mm. With a full frame, 50mm rarely comes off the camera. I love prime lenses, and although zooms are nice, primes are so much sharper. I can zoom with my feet. :)
If you are heading to Boston area, a little but north (about 20 minutes) is Salem - House of Seven Gables, Witch House, Derby Wharf etc. Right next to it is Danvers, where the witchcraft controversy actually originated if you're in to that stuff. The Rebecca Nurse Homestead is located there. Plenty of historic things in that area. Salem, Rockport, and Gloucester are great places to get some photos.
Also nice is Newburyport but that's a bit further up 95 (or rt 1), about 45 minutes from Boston.

Traffic won't be that bad since it will be after Labor Day and the start of school. Sandwich is near Hyannis and is a lovely town. Seafood Sam's near the Marina in Sandwich has excellent lobster bisque. Enjoy.
Kids will be back in school. Definitely a good time to go!

I look at it two ways....No matter how good I may become, I realise and accept there will always be someone better than me.
 This!
Honestly, I believe that with photography there is always something to learn no matter how advanced you think you are.
