Little girls are cute. My grand son attempted a similar thing but boys try with shaving cream and razor. I had a choice in grabing the razor or the camera....I chose the razor...
Personally I shoot raw depending on 3 factors:
1 - the importance of the shoot (ie weddings, in a location I may not go back to, etc...) One chance to do this right = raw
2 - I have the time to wait for my camera to process internally the shot and store it to my SD card (ie. I don't need to speed shoot)
3 - I have the storage (I do) to store raw files
In most cases stated above I will actually shoot in both RAW and JPG. JPG to post and send to whom ever and RAW for post processing which IMO is needed to some extent for all important pics. Not so much for snaps which I normally only take in JPG.
As said by many above, it is a matter of choice.
I also agree with CaptainC. However, if a shot deserves this technique it is this Owl. It does scream "Hey! Look at my eyes little one".
Nice shot and PP.
I'd love to see the pics before the post processing. Sometimes too much post processing is just too much.
Love that totally "Gangster" look of the baby. first two are awesome portraits. Nice pics.
