Under certain conditions I can find out what IP address an 'unfriendly' is using to access my website. I then do a WHOIS for that IP address. Then, depending on who/what, I can block access for either that one IP address or the range for the ISP involved.
Maybe your ISP got flagged? Are you going through your ISP (via WIFI & router) or the phone company (ie. 4G)?
I agree with contacting B&H as it appears to be their site blocking you.
Thank you. That gave me a clue. It only seems to happen if using a Wi-Fi from FIOS. I’ve turned off the WiFi on my iPhone and was able to access B&H. Then, I’ve turned on WiFI and cellular off and was still able to access the website. So the issue on my iPhone was resolved by temporarily turning off the Wi-Fi. However, the issue still remains on iMac and iPad who both only use Wi-Fi.
I had a problem with a an app I use not loading the videos through Safari. I even tried changing the search engine that Safari uses to no avail. I contacted the app and they suggested a different browser. Chrome didn't work either but Firefox did so I've now downloaded Firefox so I will be able to use the app.
Try contacting B&H and see if they have had any one else with the same problem. Maybe they have a solution.
Good luck!
Dodie
Thank you. I did contact B&H and waiting for their response.
No problem from my MacBook Pro. If you're using Safari, you could try clearing your cache: History --> Clear History and see if that helps. Or try a different browser.
I’ve tried both Safari and Chrome and cleared history but no luck.
I can’t access B&H website using my iMac, iPad or iPhone. The message appears stating that it appears that I am using automation tools to access the website which to my knowledge I am not. This started happening about a week ago but I was able to access the website after holding cursor on the verification bar. Now I can’t access at all. I have no issues with any other website. Any clues?
You forgot to mention that on the full frame lenses the mounts are different when you use a APS-C Camera. I have a Sony a99ii. Cannot use the new Sony lenses on the market. They are E mounts for these lenses and the lenses that fit the Sony a99ii are A mounts. Totally different mounts. Only way l can get them to work is to purchase a converter from A to E Mount but I lose an F Stop in the process along with the photos not being full frame. They will be 3/4 frame photos. This is the only disadvantage you have using a E Mount lens on a APS-C mirror camera.
You forgot to mention that on the full frame lense... (show quote)
Sony FF and APS-C mirrorless cameras have the same E mount, so there is no mount issue.
Weight, size and cost. Advantages are better image quality, less vignetting, usually, but not always, better build quality and higher resale value. I just saved you a lot of reading.
Here's 10 pages on the subject that started on Mar 3, 2021: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-687828-1.html
In summary, they work just fine. They're just larger and more expensive (typically) than the corresponding lens designed specifically for the cropped format.
What are the reasons against and disadvantages of using a full frame lens (e.g. Sony FE 24-105) on an APS-C sensor camera (e.g. Sony A6500)? I would like to use my Sony A6500 as a backup for my Sony A7Riii without having to buy and carry APS-C lenses on photoshoots.

I've attended several live and online workshops and conferences with Out of Chicago and I would highly recommend them. They always have top notch photographers with interest and ability to inform, teach, and explain on various topics in photography. I've learned a lot from these and improved my photography.
I have had a Fujifilm X100T for a few years and I still have trouble navigating the menus. I often just give up and grab a Pentax DSLR which I understand.
I fully understand. My other cameras are Sony's and their menu system is also confusing and irritating.
Hi. I would like to know if anyone is familiar with or has the Sony RX100 VII. Any thoughts/recommendations on this camera or similar camera would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a good, small, fit in your pocketbook take everywhere camera that has a zoom lens. It would not replace my 7100 camera.
Thank you.
I had this camera for some time and love it. It's compact but powerful, full featured and produces good results. I take it with me whenever I don't want to carry my Sony A7Riii. I highly recommend it.
