as linda said. aperture selection is much more to do with how much of your image you wish to be in focus (depth of field) pick the aperture you require and then determine the shutter speed that can go with it to give you a correct exposure.
i shoot mainly film and for landscapes i often use very low iso. add in the depth of field i may be after, filter choices and composing of shot before locking mirror up. yes i use a tripod.
a bit of a rainy drab day out side so pottering about in doors camera in hand. dont tell me you've never done it ? :) taken on a pentax 645 developed in caffenol
I'm sniping an EL Nikkor 50mm f/2.8N lens as we speak and I have a grain focuser in my "wish list" from Adorama waiting for next paycheck time. :)
Good look on the el nikkor , I use one myself. Good lens. I have a spare paterson grain focus you can have for postage if you wish .although postage from uk may be more than the price of the item from adorama.
really crap. just to think there are little shits in the world who make their living this way.cryptowall is a tough nut to crack. have you backed up your photos at any other place? because the chances are you will be doing a reformat. i think i would probably do a low level format just to be safe.
I dual boot with ubuntu and windows xp.there are a couple of programs that I like to use that run better in ms environment. Other than that my pc is linux all the way.
Autofocus is set for visible no infrared light. Autofocus only works with digital cameras when you focus in live view.
That is what I was thinking bob , but my camera autofocuses with the ir filter on. i am guessing that enough visible light passes through the 720 filter for the eos 1 to focus.
