Is the problem that you cannot download the photos at all (your camera should have come with this software) or that you cannot actually download them with Lightroom. Adobe has some raw patches that are for Lightroom if you haven't yet try here
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5308
It is the last update for camera raw in Lightroom 3.

Thanks jimni, you gave me the right info and was able to find the link and download it. i can now upload my raw Thanks Again. Mike

Sense this thread has bee started will use it if i o k with everyone. i was on a trip with a lot of people last week and i tried out shooting in RAW, from what i can see it is worth it. My problem is i can not download it into lightroom, i keep getting a window pop up that says i can' download raw. Can anyone help me out? I have looked on YouTube but could not find anything on this problem. I also searched the web for updates downloaded one but that has not helped out at all. I am beginning to think i will have to buy light room 4 which i really don't want to right now. Thank You all.

You're missing out on a very cool oppourtunity.
The colors, the speed, facial expressions...

Too bad Jay Nixon axed the Tour of Missouri.
It bought in millions of tourism dollars.

The D300 is very long in the tooth and due for a D400 replacement this year. The D7000 is still current and the next logical step up from it is the D800. I am going to replace my D90 this year, just not sure with what yet. Will either be a second D7000, a D7100, or a D800E. Time and finances will tell. But I did just pick up a Sigma 800mm F5.6 lens and am dying to see what the D800 could do with it!

What do you think of the new lens 800mm i was looking at one myself.

OK MT, once again you got me to read the manual. :-D I have looked everywhere and do not see it in there for the D300s. Which camera has it? D90 or D7000? Guess mine doesn't. Not that I would use it. Just fun to see if it did it. Window screen worked for me when I was young and poor.
Erv

Maybe i will have to read my Manual now
D7000
Ain't manuals fun???

My style is a little on the monochromatic. And I only took single exposures on this trip since I was hand-holding, so I only tonemapped using Dynamic Photo HDR5 and a little tweaking in PE10.

I took these just for fun while I was scouting this location for an upcoming sunrise shoot. This is a really unique beach on Jekyll Island, GA. The locals refer to it as the "Driftwood Graveyard".

Enjoy!

These are great.

I like the composition but it's very blue and the horizon needs to be straightened. Is it the treatment you applied or is there a lot of grain in the sky?

The sky was all white, i shoot this from maybe a mile away, i used L R 3 to get some color in the sky (too Much) the water just came through real Blue.
