More very excellent bird shots, Donna! I can't wait to go to the bird blind and get some pictures! Today a BIG bird flew so close to our window that I think his wing may have touched it! Oreo was in the window and I thought he was going to go through the screen! The bird perched on a branch close to the window,and he and Oreo just stared at each other for awhile 'til he took off. Never had a chance to get my camera!
Tom, these are excellent pictures! I have a few pictures of a red breasted grossbeak, but they are so far away that I didn't post them. On a nice day when I'm free I'm going to go to the bird blind and set up my new camera and hopefully get some closer shots of them.
It would be fun to meet, Erv, but right now I wonder how it will ever happen. We've really slowed down! Al's 75 and I'm 70 now! I think you and Janny are younger.
LOL You're funny Randy! Oreo is a biter, too, and it seems to be no use trying to stop him. He lays upside down, but no one better touch his tummy! And when we go to bed, heaven help us if we move under the covers 'cause he gives a bite good enough to produce a bruise through the quilt, blanket,and sheet! Wait 'til summer when we use only a sheet! OUCH!
