This is terribile! I caught the Minister of Mayhem playing with a toy mouse yesterday

What's so bad about that, you might ask?

Only this--if he has time to play with a mouse, then the plotting is over and the Ministry's operation underway, whatever that might be--feline underground nuclear testing, the invasion of Kansas, an attempt to gain control of the high seas and hold the world to ransom...

The only thing we can be assured of is that it's something awful, and even SuperGoose may not be able to stop him this time!

Taken with my cell phone.

You have another winner here. Those blue eyes are so blue you could swim in them.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a question about my 45 year old table saw motor konking out. Rather than getting a new motor, I found a refurbished Ryobi 10" table saw for $122 delivered. The original arrived broken, and I got the replacement yesterday.

The price was appropriate, but it will be a good second saw. I'm having a problem with the safety features. I cannot get the riving knife and safety cover attached. I am also unable to get the anti-kickback piece attached. If I follow the directions and put them in place, they are not secure enough to stay there, and I cannot lower the blade lower than about 1".

Unless you have this saw, you won't be able to help. As I said, it's a long shot.

When the teacher was showing the evils of beer. She dropped a worm in a glass of water and it swam around. Than dropped the worm in a glass of beer and it died. Ask what did they learn from that. Little Johnny Stood up and said, If you drink beer youll never get worms.

Wonder what it would take to put new tires on one of those wheel chairs? What a great invention to give additional mobility to those so challenged.

Frankly I am surprised you haven't switched over to Nikon on your own already......you know that the establishment is going to frown on whoever hasn't made the move come Jan 1 2015 !
.....If you have a good reason for not switching immediately; such as being a member of the LGBTQ crowd for instance, or you are a member of some minority group......you will be given a little more time of course!

Sorry for the diversion from the main topic. BTW, I work for a German company so understood all ze vey to ze end.

My question is, what does LGBTQ stand for? Please excuse my ignorance but have not heard that one before. However, since I do not own a Nikon I think I may be a member!

Still processing pictures from a trip earlier this month to Sedona.

Sedona is such a wonderful place to visit. No matter which direction you look there is something worth photographing. I love your shots of the red rock formations (have many of my own from a trip there) but my favorite is your intimate landscape of the prickly pear.

I've been checking the forum daily for the last year and finally decided to send in some shots. All were shot with my Nikon D800e. The Flamingo and the Mandrill were at the Columbus Zoo and the dove was about 2 feet outside our front door in the Petunia hanging basket where she had made her nest.

Flamingo - D800e w/Sigma 70-200 2.8 at 92mm. 1/1,1250 @ f5.6. ISO 400

Mandrill - D800e w/Sigma 70-200 2.8 at 135mm. 1/320 @ f4.5.
ISO 400

Dove - D800e w/Sigma 105 f2.8 Macro. 1/250 @ f3.5. ISO 100
