Welcome to Day 315 of the Daily Challenge. Today's topic is "Moving Target."
The following brief tutorial explains today's topic well.

http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Learn-And-Explore/Article/g93p3dbw/Capturing-Motion.html

Some of you may have heard me tell how I begged my husband for a DSLR after many attempts to photograph Grandchild #4, Amberly Kate, after she went from crawling to running. She became the ultimate 'Moving Target!' After purchasing my first DSLR almost two years ago, I was able to capture many quality action moments of family, and a whole lot more. Today, share with us your action moments of family, pets, water, weather, wildlife, etc.

Here I am making excuses again, but I have been occupied all week keeping sick Grandchildren. I had so many grand plans to get totally fresh material, but that didn't happen. With the exception of the last photo, my examples were shot starting in September, 2012, to-date. I can't wait to see what your submissions ~

Can't let my husband see these great dog series - both you and mgstrawn!!.. He wants another dog soooo bad, but I am not "up" for taking care of any more pets. I do love dogs too..but we have mostly cement in our yard (mostly pool deck) and he is too busy to take the dog to the park so that would leave me.... nope..

When you posted your picture, you had a box that said "choose" to choose your picture, To the right of that button is a box . Clicking that box will store the photo and allow people to view it via a download link, in a larger size. Sorry for any misspellings. Repying by phone. CHEERS

Nice shot - you can't beat early morning. Don't tilt too much or the horizon will slope - just use the nearest fence corner to straighten against the grid - it's that leaning lamp that causes the illusion.

New here too - and just getting into DSLR. Like the shots just as they are - I'm surprised, but HDR is doing it for me!Look forward to seeing some more from you.

Hi,
I am new here and fairly new to this DSLR business.
I took these on a recent trip to Australia and would be interested to know what you guys think.
Great web site and am enjoying seeing other peoples efforts and the constructive comments from people who obviously have far more knowledge than I do.

Think there's a Blue Hour thread you might like. My printer always runs out of blue first - it goes with living by the sea! Here's an early morning one.
