I purchased a camera which uses a EN-EL5 battery rated at 1100mah. Does anyone know where I buy one with a higher capacity? I spent a couple hours on the net looking but most of the links don't or won't provide capacity.

Thank

I retired from racing in 72. Bultaco gave me a factory MX bike to race in Spain. I was in the military which limited my travel to other countries. I also raced Bulls in Japan in the mid 60's and was lucky enough to win the the number 1 plate for the 2 years I was stationed there. I still love bikes but my mind says do wheelies but my body says your a fool for trying so my wife and I ride quads not as much fun but less pain after a ride.

An old German Shepherd starts chasing rabbits and before long, discovers that he's lost. Wandering about, he notices a panther heading rapidly in his direction with the intention of having lunch.

The old German Shepherd thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep shit now!"

Noticing some bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the panther is about to leap, the old German Shepherd exclaims loudly,

"Boy, that was one delicious panther! I wonder, if there are any more around here?"

Hearing this, the young panther halts his attack in mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees.

"Whew!," says the panther, "That was close! That old German Shepherd nearly had me!"

Meanwhile, a squirrel who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the panther. So, off he goes.

The squirrel soon catches up with the panther, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the panther.

The young panther is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, squirrel, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!"

Now, the old German Shepherd sees the panther coming with the squirrel on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?," but instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old German Shepherd says...

"Where's that squirrel? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another panther!"

Moral of this story...

Don't mess with the old dogs... Age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery!
Bull Shit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

If you don't send this to five 'old' friends right away, there will be five fewer people laughing in the world.

Of course, I am in no way insinuating that you are old, just 'youthfully challenged'.

You did notice the size of the print, didn't you?

According to our politicians an assault weapon must look like a military M16, have a collapsible stock, pistol grip, flash suppressor large capacity magazines and fire simi auto. There are many firearms which hold over ten rounds on the market and fire simi auto. The old M1 carbine fires both auto and simi auto and will take a 30 round magazine, the ones sold in the states are simi auto. I have a 22 rifle that holds 17 rounds, anyone proficient can hit 17 targets in less than a minute. Why is a look alike military rifle more deadly than sporting rifle with the same firepower. I don't know if our politicians are so ignorant or trying to impress the puiblic.

I hope your politicians at least read a bill before it's passed. We were told if you want to know what's in a bill pass it!

I used to ride Hare & Hounds in the Calf desert back in the 60's was a blast except for the dust of 1000's of bikes. I'm in my 70's now riding quads. My wife and I have rode in most of the western states. We're going to Jackson Hole to ride snowmobiles next month. In May plan on driving back to Alaska again.
Being at 35.000 ft I assume your a pilot, if you get a couple of jumps in 35k is great to jump from get lots of freefall time and a great rush.

St3v3m, Happy New Year. I raced motocross for 12 years while serving in the Army. While stationed in Spain I was lucky enough to have Bultaco give me a bike to race. My wife says that I'm a
adrenaline junkie as I also love skydiving.

Unlike traditional bitmap graphics, which are made up of an array of pixels, vector graphics consist of lines, curves and shapes that are based on geometric formulas. Not only do they take up far less memory than bitmaps, but sections of them can also be enlarged without any loss of resolution. Currently, however, vector graphics aren’t well-suited to photorealistic applications, such as video. That may be about to change, though, as researchers from the UK’s University of Bath have developed a new program that is said to overcome such limitations – the scientists believe that the technology could make pixels obsolete within five years.

The main problem with vector graphics is that they tend to be made up of sharply-defined areas of solid color, lacking the subtle transitions between those areas that are seen in bitmaps. As a result, the graphics are good for things like posters and animation, but tend to look a little cartoon-like.

The new codec (a program that encodes or decodes a digital video stream) is reportedly capable of filling in the boundaries between the elements in vector images. No details have been released regarding how the process works. The result, however, is moving vector-based video that is said to be equal in quality to bitmap video.

“This is a significant breakthrough which will revolutionize the way visual media is produced,” said Prof. Phil Willis, of the university’s Department of Computer Science.

The codec was developed in partnership with tech firms Root6 Technology, Smoke & Mirrors and Ovation Data Services. Commercial partners are now being sought to develop the technology further.

Samples of the vector-based video can be seen at the UBath link below

The Bushmaster used is not a assault rifle. Granted it looks like one just like the AR-15 looks like the M16. I have fired the M-16 many times in Nam. A assault rifle fires automatic (hold the trigger and it will empty the Mag.) The AR-15 is simi auto the trigger fires one shot when pulled. I have a semi auto 22 rifle that holds 18 rounds and will kill just as fast as the AR-15. Should it be banned? The media has no or little knowledge of firearms. A reporter on CNN said if you shot a deer with a AP round it would destroy the deer leaving nothing to eat. I fact a AP round would do less damage than a 22 as it will go straight through and not expand as a hunting round. I really don't see how more laws will help. The ban on look a likes is like treating cancer with a aspern. The mass killings were all done by people with mental disorders. I have no idea how or how a law will help keeping any gun out of their hands. I don't know the stats of deaths by guns or by drunk driving but I think drunks kill more than guns. If a person is killed by a drunk they may get a few years in jail yet the victim is just as dead. One thing for sure the ban will make some people rich by black marketing just like when was booze was banned.

I'm not either but I think that it may be due to lack of bandwidth.
