I am guilty of trying to paint my pictures sometime. I did added the colors on the rocks in Photoshop.

Are the rocks in the first picture really all those colors? Thanks for posting.

Thanks everybody for all your kind words. I wasn't sure how people will react to my manipulation of the colors in Photoshop. But all comments so far are positive and encouraging.

Thanks! I think it's the new transportation hub next to the museum.

What are they building with the cranes in the last photo?
Is that an addition to the monument?

I did use a circular polarizer filter on this picture. I will try to shoot without it next time. Thanks again for your coaching.

I looked at the whole picture and every thing in the picture
has the same problem with ghosting, building and all, just
in different colors. Are you using a filter, if so remove it, see
if that helps, otherwise it could possibly be your lens.

Thank you very much GeneM. I have the same problem with Yosemite national park(30 years ago). Got to work up the energy to go visit again.

Thanks Jim. If you do go, go real early. The crowd start coming in after 8am and I find it very difficult to use a tripod on those narrow path.
