Section 3 prohibits public office holders who have taken an oath to support the U.S. Constitution and then engage in insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or who give aid or comfort to enemies of the United States, from serving in public office.

I would agree that this section should apply to trump if he is convicted. But until then he is innocent.

I think if trump were really concerned about this country he would immediately remove himself from all consideration for any elected position. In addition he should also remove himself from public life.

Concerning Biden he SHOULD NOT run for a second term. He is just too old.

We need a good candidate from each party for the 2024 election. One who is younger than these two people.

I don’t care who is the next president as long as they have the best interior this country at heart. One who will work with both parties.

Enough rambling on. I think you get my drift.
