In a couple of weeks (Nov. 10), we commemorate the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald ("Big Fitz") and the loss of its 29 sailors, Lake Superior. As a way of paying tribute, I created a slideshow featuring some of the events leading to that fateful ending, which the exact cause remains a mystery to this day. Gordon Lightfoot's ballad and lyrics aptly describes that fateful night. Please join me in remembering these brave men. Thanks for watching.
Just bought a Nikon D850 and a Tamron 150-600 G2 lens (boy they're heavier than the Nikon D5200 with the kit lens). Just started getting used to the new gear and I realize I have a long way to go. I thought I'd submit these as I would appreciate feedback and suggestions. These shots are all hand held. I suspect with a tripod I can get clearer more crisp images. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Doug
I think the pictures are all great. Congrats on and have FUN with your new gear I'm green with envy
I am wondering what the general feeling is about the Luminar photo editing program. I generally use photoshop and specifically the camera raw filter. Getting a bit tired about my monthly subscription bill and wonder if Luminar or another editor is the answer. Very much appreciate your input. Jeff
I don't usually do a lot of P.P. but when I do, I enjoy using Luminar 3
Maybe it's because with mandatory auto insurance you are covering other people that you will eventually crash into but with health insurance you're only covering yourself. Maybe.
Yes that may be true, but if someone refuses to buy health insurance and then has an accident or illness which requires a long hospital stay that they can't or won't pay for, who gets stuck with all their medical bills , wait, i'll tell you. The rest of us do.
