What defines bad? Poor subject matter , out of focus , rule of thirds ? I have sold photos , published in a national magazine and a bag full of ribbons . We have all been here and have all shot bad photos. Is bad being consistently bad or occasionally bad?
This thread can go on for months.

To me presets are used occasionally not to be used on every photo. In reality you, should use, them sparingly.

I. Believe you need to do your own research. What is good for another may not be good for you . If you are already in a camera club, or join one . You can get hands on for feel, options etc. what was suggested to me was not what I bought because it didn’t feel right. Everybody here will have a different opinion and you might not like them . Do your own research. YouTube check out the different camera tutorials there.

Unless you are buying a older version of LR you will get both with a subscription. LR and PS do two different processes bur you can use LR exclusively.

I was taking photos of moving water at a splash pad near me . I was approached and asked what I was doing because there were so many little kids . I showed him all my photos with no children in them . Same as this photog . I bet he was right up in their business and it pissed them off. He could have had a bigger impact by shooting from a distance showing the emergency vehicles without getting a photo of the person hurt. Look what they show on TV , they show the scene not narrowing in on the person in trouble . I think he just wanted to make a point instead of using discretion.

This biggest issue is having a graphics card that is that having OPEN GL 3.5 or higher. If you do t have this it makes no difference what computer you have.

The latest versions have built in presets and I have bought some . I have also bought preset brushes to use with the adjustment brush from Serge Ramelli which I use.
