I don't have Sony equipment but Fuji. My opinion is that if IQ is the same, go with the 18-135. Gives you a little more to work with.

"People can honestly disagree about the Electoral College system as it is currently implemented – and a startling number of people, though not necessarily Trump himself, seem genuinely opposed to the very idea of majority rule – but you can't suggest that what we have now is the founders' vision come to life."
Thank you Keenan for an "intelligent" recitation about the Electoral College. I said it earlier, I will say it again. Time to evolve with the realities of the times. And in 200 years, it will be time to re-access and make appropriate changes again, assuming we still have a constitutional republic.

I am not really into bird pictures and never comment on them. However, this is a GREAT shot and I feel compelled to say something.

"He won on Electoral College votes as per the Constitution. The Electoral College was designed to keep large population states that disagreed with/had different interests from the rest of the country from dominating all elections as they could have done if Popular Vote was used. Except in 1787 the big population state the other 12 worried about was Virginia.
"

I think the Constitution starts off with, "We the people..." not We the electorals. Times change, we evolve. Perhaps our voting rules should keep up with changes.

If I could only go to visit one country the rest of my life (fortunately that is not the case) it would be Italy and I have been there many times. My suggestion would be to not try and see everything in one trip but spend your time getting to know Rome and Florence, including the surrounding Tuscany region. The Amalfi Coast should be a week all by itself. I could easily spend two weeks alone in Venice taking pictures. You won't have the summer crowds, which is good but the weather could be iffy. Who cares? Enjoy the wine, the food and the people. Good luck and don't concentrate all your energy looking for that perfect image, you will miss out on the real treat, which is the overall cultural experience.

Welcome to the hog. I too use the Fuji X-T2. If you are ever in Telluride shooting, send me a note. I went to your website and your images are very nice.

In spite of the smoke, this is a great shot. And, I totally understand. The smoke in the Rocky Mountains has been terrible all summer. And because of the drought I am afraid the fall foliage will be a total blah with leaves just turning brown and falling to the ground.

I have used adapters all over the world, including South America. Just make sure you get the correct adapter. Different countries sometimes use different plugs. When you buy a good adapter make sure it says it will work for the country/countries you are going to. For example, in Europe you have Southern Europe and Northern Europe adapters. I am not sure about South America countries.
