Bye bye, manipulator-in-chief. Won’t miss you.

When you need to tell everyone that they just don’t get it, in all likelihood it’s not that you’re the only one who gets it and everyone else has it wrong.

You are the one who has it wrong and just doesn’t get it.

It's certainly not an insult, but I am what I am and there's no changing that regardless of what laws are made up.

However, according to Frank T and the leftists, referring to a man as being a woman is the zenith of insults. Go figure.

They view the world through the same lens that they see themselves....which explains a lot.

I find it ironic that leftists think they can insult people by purposefully referring to them as being of the other sex. Aren't leftists supposed to be anti-sexism and so on? Right but only when it suits them, of course.

Then again because of the weird laws in Canada, lots of people are confused in gender identification; it was another Canadian who referred to DebAnn as a "he" in another thread where Frank T discovered he could reveal his sex confusion.

We also hear from leftists that the conservatives are "anti-women," yet Frank T the leftist thinks it's the pinnacle of insults to refer to me in the feminine. If it weren't for double standards, the leftists would have no standards.

However, I am not insulted being referred to as female. It does not bother me at all because women are not inferior to men, a fantasy of which Frank T is desperately trying to convince us.

I am the proud father of 4 girls (they are women, but they will always be my girls to me.) My wife and I have brought them up to be strong, independent women with brains, manners and an education. I also taught them some of the more esoteric skills I acquired over the decades in exotic locales; they can take care of themselves.

If you think I am conservative, you should hear them talk about the leftist snowflakes they run into all the time at college, work and so on.

So Frank T, please continue to showcase your confusion about sex identification; we totally understand why you are so confused, being a leftist in Canada and all. I love the way you reinforce the double standard issue that is so prevalent among you leftists.

I would argue that being called a woman is a compliment. Call me biased, but females can organize, multi-task, and handle pain in average much better than males can and are equally as smart. On average, the only weakness we have in comparison is physical strength.

You always have the perspective that you are superior, when you wading in the weeds on this, wandering confused and uninformed with no idea of what I’m talking about and no ability to explain yourself.

Ignorance is bliss, but I don’t care to share it with you.

Have a great life.

Let’s drop it. You have no idea what I’m saying, and I have no idea what you are trying to say, and besides that I’m bored talking to you.

I know what you’re saying. I suspect I also know what you would like to say but are not expressing it properly. Either way, what you have said is over-simplified and illogical. For your example to be valid, it requires that the wealth of everyone in the world remain constant with the exception of your fictional person. That’s not possible.

But, if that’s too difficult for you, I absolutely understand.

Thats the first step....admitting you have a problem.

It’s not a difficult concept. But you’re excused.

Trust me, I know, I get an earful every time we call Virginia! If the general public knew the current status of the infrastructure, with what is going on in this world, I would be buying stock in sleep aid products. Thank you for your service! And, your venting is welcome here, I am an expert at listening. Now, should I call my daughter this AM or......Ah, I think I better grab another cup of coffee first!

Just sitting at my desk, post-shutdown waiting for the spinning wheel of death to stop. I’ve had the audacity to paste about 1,500 rows into my 61,000 row spreadsheet. Excel can handle a million rows, but my HP can’t even manage 50,000 without a meltdown. And it just stopped after 8 1/2 minutes. Now it’s gonna really freak. I’m going to copy a dozen or so formulas into my newly pasted data.....venting (me and the computer both!)
On another note.....
It’s raining here today...actually, more like misting. Doubled my commute....took over two hours to get to work this morning. If she had to drive anywhere, go for the coffee.

I have a Navy vet daughter married to a active duty Army Non-Com. Trust me, I get it and agree 1000% with you. My son in law is doing three different jobs right now with resources depleted under Obama. However, at the end of the day you all get paid.

That’s not a guarantee, but would be a political hot potato to not pay us.

We waste a lot of time and resources on this political game. Not just the shutdown but the incessant CRs. We spend half of every year...half of our time....juggling drips of resources and managing uncertainty and risk.

Right now, personally, I’m waiting for the budget so my leadership can buy me a decent computer. I use relatively complicated Excel workbooks and my computer can’t handle them. I spend half my time waiting for the spinning wheel to stop and that’s a lot of productivity lost. In the meantime, last week we were issued new computers. They are identical to the ones we were using save for running windows 10 instead of 7....and they’re 10 years old. Probably bought at the last minute to spend Budget money that could have been used for training if only it had been available on 1 Oct.

It’s s mess.

I honestly think, if Shooter sits down and thinks about it, he has the ability to offer a reasonable debate. I've seen it in some of his rants. I would love to see an opinion rather than an attack. I just happened to like this blogger's perspective - it made sense to me.

Yeah....there’s that pesky part about them interpreting laws, though. Thanks to Obama, DACA isn’t a law. Too bad, so sad.

He can’t sign a bill that’s not passed.

And by the way....this is Obama’s Budget. It should have been passed right about the time Trump took the oath. Congress, if they were doing their job, should be fighting over the 2019 Budget right now.

There were wealthy people before, some of them very wealthy, but they didn’t create a permanent super-wealthy class. That’s what is happening now.

We might be doing a smidge better than pre-revolutionary France,, but we’ve laid the foundation on both ends—increasing poverty and financial insecurity on one side, and a permanent super-wealthy class on the other. Won’t happen while I’m around—I’m 78 years old, but we’re building serious trouble.

I’ll give you that poverty is increasing....but it is in spite of government policy, not because of it. We have more social programs and opportunity to learn and grow earning potential than ever...but we not only condone being lazy and poor but we encourage it. We teach our children (some of us, especially the poor) that their failure in life is the fault of someone else and that we are not responsibie for our own well being. We teach them that they are guaranteed equal outcome, not equal opportunity. That is what will bring us to revolution....if it hasn’t already.

There is plenty of wealth to go around....if you’re willing to go get it. The problem is that too many of us expect it to be delivered to us. That’s NEVER going to be sustainable. We are already at critical mass, with nearly half of income earners contributing no tax or “negative” tax (paying zero and getting refundable tax credits to boot).https://taxfoundation.org/summary-latest-federal-income-tax-data-2016-update/

You can buy annuities that guarantee that rate. That’s why I picked it.

If you’ll pardon me, you have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s not the rate, but the compounding, drawing interest upon interest.

I didn’t say you couldn’t buy then now, you can, and they do. But put a 100 billion at interest for a few or several years and you outstrip small nations, and power and corruption follows.

No....it’s you hat has no idea what I’m talking about.

So, how do you guarantee that you are the only person in the world gaining wealth?

Your buying Congress argument relies on you becoming much richer than everyone else.

Without that piece, your argument falls apart.

So, how much would you have in fifty years, and how would it affect a democracy where you could buy the congress, the executive and the Supreme Court with pocket change?

Let us hear your answer.

You don’t exist in a vacuum. There needs to be a robust economy to keep you earning 7%. You would be far from the only one earning at that rate and no better off, relatively, from where you began. If you can’t buy them now you can’t buy them later.

I might argue that your bribe also relies on a corrupt individual(s) willingness to accept said bribe. Although we are talking politicians here, there is no value if you don’t have a buyer for what you’re peddling.
