These numbskull celebrity opinions are only one reason that most alien spaceships approaching Earth prefer to lock their doors and keep on flying.

If $75 is modest, yes. I pay about $3.00 for the supermarket to do my shopping and put the order into my car.

Get a "Lowe's for Pro's" card and the delivery fee is set at $20 per order. Just pay the balance in full because the interest charges rival those of the PayBoo card.

Thanks, but a Gecko on TV keeps trying to tell me that I can save 15% on car insurance.

Jerry, at the current exchange rate, PHP2,200 is USD39.75. Shipping always is the problem. And maybe customs? Of course, with your resources, none of that would be a consideration. Get your advertising agency started on it right away, before somebody else beats you to it! Just think - solid mahogany; pure rich sound, unequalled by the glued together veneer models. You can fabricate the custom cases! And I'm sure some of the ladies in your group would jump at the chance to be models for your promotions!

It seems like a lot of Burger Kings are biting the dust. I have seen several closed and one in the same shopping center where I work at Sam's Club had a fire last year and I see no evidence they plan to reopen. It always seemed to underperform with never over about three cars in line at a time. I recently discovered a chain that holds promise. While visiting Charleston, SC last month I went to a Carvers (had never heard of them but there are about 900 I think). They have a much larger menu than the normal burger place and the food I got there was very good. One of their signature sandwiches is a roast beef sandwich which I didn't order but my friend Andy did and it looked very good -- Andy said it was. They have frozen yogurt and you can have it straight or with a choice of toppings. With the loss of better choice places like Steak and Shake which I considered a cut above the normal fast food places, I hope Carvers will come to this area in the near future. We had two Steak and Shakes here in the Lehigh Valley but both closed. Their burgers were good but their shakes were excellent.

Did you perhaps dine at "CULVER'S" in lieu of "CARVERS"? CULVER'S has recently opened a few locations in the Charleston, SC area and their website says that there are 900+ CULVER'S restaurants across the USA. I did not find (using Google) any restaurants named CARVERS in this area. CULVER'S menu offerings and food quality are far above that of any other big-name fast food outlet.

Are the compared containers each a full half gallon (4 pints) or are they the presently more common size of 1.5 quarts?

Half Gallon = 2 quarts = 4 pints
1.5 Quarts = 3 pints

If four pints per container, did you intend to write $1.03 per pint in lieu of what you wrote as $.03 per pint?

$4.13 per container divided by 4 pints = $1.0325 per pint.
$4.13 per container divided by 3 pints = $1.7666 per pint.

Is it reasonable to think that the Social Security retirement age might be bumped up to somewhere around 90 years to keep payers in the system longer before drawing benefits? That would provide approximately 30 years of benefits if reaching 120 years is considered average. The economics of a longer average lifespan is a very complicated subject.
