Grandpa Simmons on his Farmall Regular 1927. This was just before the Depression and the Dust Storms hit South Dakota.Wish I had this tractor; I collect Farmalls and have an M and C. This pic is my avatar, as you can see.

Grandpa Young of Missouri in 1918. This was taken while he was in the Army in Texas during WW1. His truck is #352-17

No matter where you turn along that coast, there is a picture. If they were mine, I would do a tighter crop to bring the viewer in. Keep on posting, you have great subject matter.

Wonderful I have gull shots from the West Coast that I like, but I just realized that what I am missing is perspective. You are low and the subjects pop out from the background.

Great! They are tack sharp and beautiful. I'm glad you are willing to take them. For myself, I will pass on the snakes. On the plains there are rattlesnakes but I am blissfully unaware of them.

Hard to mess up such a cute little puppy. I want to pick him up and take him home.
I think your DoF is great with the butterfly
Im more concerned with the lense flare then the horizon in your sunset. Horizons are an easy fix. Lens flare is another story.

Do you have ideas on preventing lens flare when shooting a sunset shot such as Marrria has done? I have had some great shots of sunsets but also stuggle with lens flare.

Grandma, you have made a wonderful start. You found beauty and created interest in unlikely objects. Keep shooting.

Great photos. I am fond of landscapes and the "Full Moon" and "Sunset" are outstanding. Thank you for posting.
