Years ago my husband and I were running fence and although there was no thunder and no lightning, we suddenly had the metal fence panel arc to the wooden posts along a 10 yard distance. We didn't even pick up our tools before we boogied back to the house! And the storm was miles away.
This brings back memories! I never mastered a simple vault to the saddle as the horse cantered in a circle, but I loved watching the instructor do her "routine". Thanks for a lovely set, and especially the last one, with the horse's eager look and the rider's smile! No zoom needed!
Photo #3 is my favorite. How close to the action were you standing? On horseback? Great freeze frame, I like shots that show you the whole detailed view for subjects where the action is missed in a blink.
It looks like it should be a lipstick plant, but the leaves are wrong; maybe a cardinal vine. Hope someone can give a definitive ID. Whatever it is, good shot.

Haven't tried it. I'm still using this.
What do you do when the needle wears out?
I love mine! It is a toy, I must admit, but fun. I'm moving it from the living room to the bedroom so I can lay in bed and listen to my music and tell it to change the volume, skip a track, turn off, and so on. It reminds me of the "computer" in star trek. It is so cool to have it talk back to me. Have you tried "Alexa, Wikipedia (the info you want)." It gives you the gist of the topic, then "Alexa, Tell me more about xxx" for the whole entry. It will read an audible book to you, although there is a Kindle-ish charge for it; mine came with a coupon for two free books. Every week there is something new...
My forum name is the license plate on my little Miata. Do you want one, too?

Thanks for looking
I am hoping you can answer: which horse won the class? I'm rooting for the grey.
Probably the worst thing you can hear when you’re wearing a bikini is “Good for you!” (quote found online, no attribution). I guess that holds doubly true for posing nude.
Woman speaking: "to attract men" ?!! What a piggy thing to say. I prize my nude photos for myself, to appreciate my young self as time wages a war on my body :~) And they were taken by my husband who recently passed, and I honor him as well (privately).
I'm not sure if it was scripted as such; I remember hearing that they provided the questions to the panel ahead of time. Anyhow, a great memory. Thanks for sharing.

My most recent training is shooting dead people. Also shooting crime scenes! My goal is too videotape my ex mother-in Laws autopsy.
Forensic photography / legal video.
For a bonus, your subjects hold
real still , and never interrupt your train of thought.

Nothing weird here. Just stuff that I encounter in my life and that mean something to me.
I like taking an "artistic" picture with as much skill as I can but what means the most to me is that shoebox of 4x6 prints that I can dig through and relive memories.
Yes! Me too. I recently went through boxes of photos and pitched about 70% of them. So what I have now is small in number but bigger in quality, and mainly family photos.
