A dairy farmer because of his many cows has to on regular basis clean the manure out of the cow barn. This usually entails pumping the manure from the subfloor of the barn to a manure spreader. The manure spreader is a long trailer with device at the rear of the trailer that flings out the manure as the trailer is pulled. The dairy farmer will pull the trailer through a field spreading the manure which is a very good fertilizer for anything growing in the field.
One day as he is spreading the manure/fertilizer his hired hand is riding with him on the tractor which is pulling the manure spreader. As they go around the field, the farmer on a regular basis stops, gets off the tractor, goes back to the manure spreader, sticks his hand in the manure and wipes some on his lips.
This goes on for some time, but finally the hired man is at his wits end and asks the farmer why he keeps putting manure on his lips.
The farmer replies, Its good for chapped lips, whereas the hired man blurts out, are you telling me manure is good for chapped lips?
No, answers the farmer, but it keeps me from licking them.

I've had a Nex-6 for several months and very pleased. However, after all these years of digital cameras, I've come to the conclusion that one is really buying a computer with a lens on it. Always a learning curve.
The EVF is great, don't own a camera without.
Have a Sony Nex-6 with kit lens 3.5-5.6/16-50mm. Will a Sigma 30mm f2.8 DN prime lens make for sharper pictures?
By the way the Nex-6 is an outstanding camera and has exceeded my expectations.
By all means conduct yourself according to the old expression, "never join any organization that would have me as a member." You'll be much happier. Also, in retirement I am constantly amazed that I ever had time to go to work.
