Gracias Amigo. All too often an OP brings up choices, A or B. PERIOD. But then someone decides to add in C, D, E and so on.

Dennis

Yea.... I know.....
I suppose they simply have to get their two cents in...

Or just put it in a junk folder. It then should always go there. My junk folder is automatically deleted every week.

I don't get much spam, but my email client puts most of it in the spam (junk) folder. I review when something is placed there and empty accordingly. I don't let them exist for more than a few hours if that.
Occasionally it erroneously marks something as spam, and I just move that item to the in-box.
Things in the spam folder are not "marked by the email client" as spam until I empty the spam folder containing them.

Yes - most sites track info. You can use a different browser that blocks trackers. The ones showing tracking attempts blocked is when I used Safari as my web browser - the browser showing nothing blocked is the browser I use.

I have my browser set to block trackers, also an add-on for the browser, and I think Norton does also.

Just a fluke

Yup.

Point being, a swollen camera battery could also be just a fluke.
Unless there's a bunch of statistics to prove otherwise.

A judgement cannot be based on one or two occurrences.
but a "Darn, I had a Zinkledorf brand battery fail, never buying them again." mentality exists.
Now If I kept buying a brand and they kept failing "prematurely" that may substantiate not getting any more of them. Then again, are they compatible with the charger I use? Have I abused them? Other variables remain.
And define "prematurely" also.

Possibly... Is your email Gmail???

I would not be surprised that Google sells search information.
Possibly the "ad" routine that UHH utilizes may have access to google info?

If you stored them on a car and it was warm to hot that would cause batteries to go bad

Nope. Bought them, brought them home, stored them in the downstairs pantry.
I would have expected more than 1 out of 40 though if it was a "batch" problem.

And everyone watching the news doesn't get it, aside from the fact that not ALL information is reported.
Even news viewers are manipulated as to their reactions/feelings simply by what and how the news is presented.
I.E. what "details" may be left out or emphasized..

Like the one university where the university people came out and basically said they'd put it on the voting agenda for the Fall, is that okay? The protestors agreed and left.....
But I guess that wasn't quite as "news worthy" as police carrying people off to jail.........

I have no idea what caused them to swell. I only use Nikon chargers and remove batteries from them shortly after the charging process completes.

It was simply their time.....

I bought a pack of AA alkalines one time, after a few months, one of the 40 leaked. Just one.
The rest were fine, and are still fine. All have the same "expiration" date.
It was just its time or a fluke.
Stuff happens, whether we want it to or not.

If you simply trash the email, they already have your address and another will eventually follow. If you hit the unsubscribe link and have to enter your e-mail, don't. That may take your email and spread it around to others. If your email is already there, you can hit the unsubscribe button and that may or may not work. It will work if it's a legitimate ad and it won't if they just put it there to make you think they will honor the request. Lord knows, I have hit that button on many political fund-raiser emails and was never unsubscribed...occasionally it was successful.
If you simply trash the email, they already have y... (show quote)

I set up filters to just delete spam emails that match certain criteria.
New ones are added to the filter list.

Are they all viewing on calibrated monitors?

If the monitor characteristics were not changed between viewing the results of each camera, it doesn't matter if it is calibrated or not.
The monitor display is a constant in either case. It depends on what is sent to the monitor how it is displayed, i.e. the contents of the image file.

Trash it or mark as spam.
I never click on the unsubscribe link in unsolicited emails!
They can go to a page that may do just as much damage as any other page they have.
Just because it says "unsubscribe" doesn't mean that's what will happen when you click on it....

(I also look at the header info to see where it really came from and look at the links to see where it wants to go. That will sometimes allow me to confirm spam or real.)
