Here we are in Mid Summer and the Day Lilies have returned once again.
Hosta plants bloom in blue, pink, purple and white.
The Iris show is now in full swing in the garden.
Peonies like to grow near a fence and if they get too prolific in the number of flowers that bloom
they need to be supported.
There are hundreds species of Lupines which come up each year about the same time as the Iris.
While the major league team adopted this bird's name and colors, the bird's itself, got its name from George Calvert, Lord Baltimore, a 17th-century nobleman whose coat of arms used the same colors.
The Lilacs were out in force this year.
Nothing like walking past one of these
bushes when then are in bloom.
Waiting for the Lilacs to bloom all Winter is great to see them. Like all of the early
Spring flowers we wish that they would hang around a bit longer.
Never plant a birch tree near a swimming pool.
What they drop you will have to pick up.
The Birch Trees always have these seeds on display in early Spring just before the leaves show up.
The arrival of the Daffodils seemed longer than usual this year.
No matter. Always good to see them again.
Some Easter Tulips that bloomed just on the right day.
This is what happens when you have breakfast and know there is a photograph on the
table along with a bit of whimsey.
Not one of mine but since this vehicle has generated some interest here is
a interior shot of what the car looked like.
