Number 3 is very interesting. Check out the resemblance to this structure, called an oratory, I believe, located on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. Very nice set!
Thank you, AJ! The little hut that you posted must have taken a long time to build. Every stone is shaped and formed and very neatly placed. Thanks for posting!

I took a look at all of your postings and it looks like Iceland is a landscape photographers paradise. I hope to travel to Iceland this summer. I am booked on a cruise to Greenland which leaves out of Iceland. I am looking forward to the trip. Your pictures are very motivating. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for looking in! I hope that you picked up a few ideas. Have fun on your trip!!

Very nice captures. Sure is rugged country.
Thank you, NMGal! The volcanoes have really shaped a large portion of Iceland. I would hate to try to walk two miles across some of that volcanic rubble!

Especially number four for me.
Thank you, Longshadow!! That was a pretty interesting rock formation. There was a guy there flying a drone around the structure getting a shot from every angle that he could.
We continued our journey along the south shore of Snaefellsness Peninsula. There is so much to see!! We were trying to hurry along yet we didn't want to miss anything. I think that there will be at least one more chapter after this one. Thanks for looking!!

This is in the town of Arnarstapi and was built to commemorate Bardur Snaefellsas. Legend has it that he was half troll half human and protected the people that lived on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.

Stark beauty in this country...miss the trees!!
Thank you jederick!! Some great sites to see and sometimes some pretty barren ground in between. A few trees might help.
Great pics! Fun for you to find to find a little action like this!!
Nice one, John!! I love these old barns too. They are disappearing fast!
