Your Eastern Blue Birds are fabulous! I think I saw one here a few days ago, but it flew off before I could grab my camera.

Thank You Ellen. That honery gull did swoop my camera. Ducky was a duck that someone abandoned at a local lake homeowners association, all the homeowners adopted and fed it. Ducky was really a sweet duck and lived a happy life at the lake.

I may have discovered the identity of the first bird photo. It may be a Black-Crowned Night Heron. The size appears to be right, the coloring may be right, the flat headed posture, and the marshy, lake location is where I found it.

Thank You Kats. It appears that the Oriole I was trying to identify is the Orchard Oriole. My bird is a bit smaller and darker orange than the Orioles that normally visit.
