Welcome to the site, Bakedtater. All three are excellent, and I especially like the swamp shot. Really beautiful work there.

Awesome shot! You nailed it. I got to hand it to yall.....The pioneers...film photographers....experience was a necessity. I watched my father growing up with his nikon f3 and learned a great deal always asking questions and wanting to shoot. Again....Awesome shot!

Enjoy these moody, fascinating photos. Not what we usually see here. Thank you for sharing them.

My D7000 is showing and feeling its age. It's already taken a trip to the Nikon camera hospital. Still, I'll love it till it dies. Hopefully Nikon will offer a new DX camera or two the next month or so. As far as full frame, the D610 is attractive but size, weight, my DX lenses and cost are issues to consider. The D7000 is a far better camera than I am a photographer it has only held me back in low light situations.
Enjoy these moody, fascinating photos. Not what we... (show quote)

Thanks wings42. I loved my d7000 too. She was a great camera and only failed to to me. I dropped it several times and the last one did her in. The d610 is awesome. And no worries over the do lenses. I put the 10.5f/2.8 dx on and set the camera to dx crop mode and the photos are unreal and just as great if not better. If you like the d7000 as much as I did then the full frame will blow you away. I highly recommend the d610. But now I'm in need of a second camera. The new d750 is intriguing but the unknown are scary. I'm almost to the point of just saying come on with the d4s. Only time will tell.
