Bigger solar panels. Your average input to the battery has to be equal to or greater than the average load that the camera and other equipment presents. Also a switching regulator is more efficient that simple analog regulators - could make all the difference.

I one saw a helicopter spraying crops next to a high line. The pilot was making hammerhead turns a couple hundred feet above the ninety foot high power lines. I thought he was crazy. The guy in your video reminds me of something a pilot friend told me.
"There are old pilots and there are bold pilots but there are no old bold pilots."

This won't work. Squishy kids bodies produce inelastic collisions. The steel ball thingie works because steel is very elastic and produces energy conserving collisions.
Maybe that is the idea of this playground "experiment" - showing what won't work.

I thought that was what I said.

...but how long will the operating system on your computer continue to support the plugins to read the raw format. After a number of years go by, the only computers you can buy will not support an OS old enough to use the plugins to read the old RAW formats.

Here us my best for this last week.
This was taken at a local farm pond. It was a miserable cold overcast day. The pond was full of Canada geese until a flock of swans scared them away. The next day the swans were gone and the geese were back but I was lucky to catch them while they were there.

You realize that if the rest of the state secedes from Chicago, they loose 95% of whatever tax revenue they currently get for infrastructure etc?

Yes, but we will probably loose more than 95% of the expenses too. and at least 3/4 of the crooked politicians and 3/4 of the lame ideas in Springfield
Over all, it would be worth it!

I was at Argonne for a one week course on reactors in 71 or 72 while I was a student at Western Illinois University. (BS Physics 72)

Damn shame because Chicago is a great city.

Personally I wish the rest of the state of Illinois would secede from Chicago. People in both of the resulting states would be a lot happier.

My wife says she will take one of each - the dogs that is. Your work is magnificent. Great job of getting your subjects to pose for you. My dogs only pose when they are asleep. ;-)

Hi all, I transferred images from my computer to thumb drive but were not readable on other computers Am I doing something wrong?

Two things come to mind.
1) Are they RAW files? The other computers may not know how to read these files.
2) If your computer is a Mac (like mine) you have to format the thumb drive for a PC. The Mac can read PC format and its own native format. PCs are more limited.

And later as a US Senator, he flew his Cessna 310 back and forth from Ohio to Washington DC routinely. A big change from that tiny little sensible car.

He did a lot of his earlier flying in single seat fighters - Prop and Jet. That little car was probably spacious by comparison. ;-)
