Hey Blitz, I decided to go all artistic on it, and to me it works. I hope you like it. This was all done in Lightroom 3, and it took me about 4 minutes, which is why I love that program so much.

I really like the umbrella ones, and the glass one. Very innovative.

Love the colors in the first one, and to get two good ones out of 30 is a good thing, I got 10 out of 400 that I liked of mine. So you are off to a good start, great even.

I would like to say that there is a way to get decent drop photos without having to spend too much money. All you need is some bright lights and a way to defuse them. I did take a photo that shows my setup if it is ok to post it I will, and some of the photos that came from it.

easier and cheaper count me in . lol . sure post your set up , i for one can use all the help i can get .

Well here it is, I did have a remote, but that was $35 at the camera store. I used a casserole dish inside a garbage bag, a halogen shop light (but any bright light will do), I bought two clamping spotlights at the Home Depot for $15, to defuse the light I bought a dorm room shelving unit at Walmart for $20. Everything else was pretty much around the house items. Oh the colored pieces were clear gift-wrap from the dollar store.

Thanks for the pic of your setup, it helps. I will try to reply quote so people no who I am refuring to in the future. I saw on one recient website were a guy who has been working on this type of photo's for 2 years and some of the tricks he has learned over that time. http://500px.com/MarkusReugels/blog/12674 This guy has it figured out. Also try to use air blast for the drip and a pellet gun for a bigger splash. Please use safety precousions.

A trick to check focus on the LCD screen is to use your cameras screen zoom function when you have taken a shot and are looking at it, zoom all the way in and that should give you an idea of how in focus the photo is.

This is all that.

Love the blue bowl idea, when I did this I used a casserole dish inside a black bag, but I like yours better. Did you have a problem with noise, because I certainly did, but that can be taken care of in PP. These are great, keep them coming!!

Bingo. This is Union Terminal in Cincinnati, Ohio, one of Cincinnati's art deco buildings, now the museum center. Built in 1931, the art deco style made the perfect "hall of justice. Good job, Steve.

Thank you, loved that show as a kid.

With the size of those guns, your mouth wouldn't be the only thing shot off.
