Cloud sucks. I know several business that lost everything in the *&%$ cloud.
I went to a Vet the other day. Could not see my sick pup because everything was in the &^% cloud which was down most of the day.
Just say no to the cloud for everyday use. Secondary Backup maybe if you have good security and good local backup. It takes very little to bring the internet down.
The short answer is Windows 10 Sucks big time. I am a software developer and Windows 10 is one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and RETIRE. After doing Linux development for 15 years I was asked to do some development for a product using Windows 7.
I worked three years in that environment. It was OK. Windows 7 was probable the best version of Windows ever. XP was great also.
I developed a sub sea seismic recording system that could bring in 40,000 channels of seismic data sampling all 40,000 channels 500 times a second. Writing the data on a huge RAID. It was quite a feat. When Windows 10 came along we were lucky to sample 5,000 channels. Plus all the other &^%&* problems.
I am retired but doing embedded firmware developer for a few projects just to keep busy.

What is idiotic is when I work on my truck 1/2 the fasteners are metric the other half are SAE. I use to be able to look at a bolt and select the correct wrench every time. Now it might take three tries to get the right size.
Well I was a Unix/Linux developer for 25 or so years. Live Linux and used it to build large scale Seismic recording systems. I have built systems that will sample 40,000 channels 500 or 1000 times a second and store the info in real time on raid. While performing QC and display on the data.
Then the company I worked for 40 years decided not to make Seismic products anymore. :-{
I moved across town to another company. "I have work history with almost all the people at that company." The only problem is they use Windoze for their operating system. At least it was XP later Windows 7. All was fine until WONDOZE 10 :{
To me Windoze 10 is terrible. Slow reliabality is bad slow slow. :-{ Resource hog then there is the Hourely Updates. At least it seems that way. I worked two more years and finaly decided it was a great time to retire. The only reasion I stayed as long as i did is I went back to embedded programing for android. Then things got slow and I had to do Windoze programming again. Life is too short time for a new adventure.
I am running Windoze 10 at home. I would switch to Linux except for having to identify linux replacments for all the programs and apps I use. I am not interested in messing with computers at that level anymore so I just suffer with Windoze 10 and use the computer as little as possible.

I had a back up camera in the film days. I ended up with the backup when my primary camera needed some warranty repair "Canon A1". I dropped it off for repair and there was a nice used AE1 in the case. I purchased that and had my backup camera. Neither camera gave me any problems after that and both are in my office just in case I need to shoot film.
In the film days backup camera made a lot of sense. I kept them both loaded with different film and used both all the time. With digital cameras ?
A lot of them in Houston Texas. The number varies year to year. This year I would have a difficult time showing you one.
SSD drives fail too. I had one at work. It was the boot drive. Failed after a year and took all my work with it.
I like spiders. I have spent many a winter day in a deer blind full of sider and hibernating wasps. Never stung. When it warms up a little they can get very active.

You could have crossed the bridge. Slapped the shit out of one of them and been on the 10 PM news. The photos of your bloody carass would have been the lead story. But you probably made the correct decision. :-}
I think all other things being equal the standard SD card is less expensive than the micro SD. Or has that changed recently.
