EF-S lenses will work on the R or RP but not on the 6D. My wife, an event photographer, moved from 60D to 6D years ago and now has the RP... she will stay with mirrorless and upgrade that. The RP is a very good deal for (as said) slow moving or static scenes.

Built a basement darkroom in 1972. My eldest daughter learned to develop film and print at age 8, in 1982, and still has the equipment. Saw a Durst M604 enlarger labeled "antique" in Costa Rica national museum. Mine was an M600. Sigh.

JohnR, I cannot help but think you got a lemon, perhaps dropped at the dealer. But also check to make sure contacts on the lens are clean and your front filter is ok if you are using one. The 18-135 is really, really sharp.

It is the lens normally on my A6000. Love it. I shoot raw+jpeg. The lens is contrasty when used with the hood, and has great resolution.

You lose a lot of continuing business. Ethical Houston college stripped the copyright info so anyone who picked it up would be hard to prosecute for damages. Major news organizations have destroyed value of my wife's photos that way.

My magazine is headquartered in Rosenberg, near Houston. Would we hire a graduate of the Bauer school of mgt, which stole the picture? Hell no. Not the ethics I'd want them to have been taught.

Optical illusion. Whether at the horizon or high in sky, the moon is about 0.5 degree wide.

I edit a magazine and my wife regularly photographs for a major daily paper. Provide max quality jpg and 2000 pixels on long side. That allows photos to be sized up to 10" for publication. If they want larger they can ask.

Ended up using my 50 a lot. High latitude plants are tiny... spent a week in Svalbard October 2009 to shoot a Life After People episode. Midnight in summer can cast sharp deep shadow in mainland Norway valleys and affords. Clouds help.

I once had bellows... wore it out 20 years ago. Now for macro work with my K1 I use (gasp) a set of magnifying lenses screwed on like filters. A friend who does a lot more of this in a more critical way uses a lens reversal ring. All manual.

A friend borrowed my A6000 for use with his EF lenses and this adapter. He had inconsistent results. The Sigma EF lens he used performed perfectly. The Canon EF worked but not in all focus modes as I remember. So he sent back the adapter.

Find someone with old Minolta M or MD and see if they match your lens. I've used Pentax for 50 yrs but inherited great old Minolta glass. Mounts similar. Some K glass has tab near stopdown lever that can be cut away.

I use my ancient minolta lenses (all manual focus) on the A6000 only for studio work, with a dumb, metal, $12 tilt mount I bought on AliExpress four years ago. Heavy! If studio work is what you do, that's ideal. For fair- weather walk around I use native E

I have a bunch of old Minolta lenses that I use for studio work (mainly food and jewelry) on an A6000. I have a metal tilt mount adapter bought for $12 on Ali Express years ago. Also use some old Pentax lenses that way.

My wife and I capture raw and jpeg. RAW has 12 or 14 bits per channel, jpeg just 8. Usually it doesnt matter. But when it does, it does. We use Lightroom and the rest of Adobe CS. For her event photog, daily highlights usually from jpeg.
