I take exception with you on this. This is not the time for sunshine moderates. Our freedoms and liberty and the government we were bequeathed under our Constitution is at stake. Moderation in the defense of liberty is no virtue. It is the time for true Constitutional patriots to take a stand without compromise.

And I'm certain YOU can define for us who/what is a "true Constitutional patriot." Am I right?

Maybe you should talk to Ted Nugent. He made fun of the vaccination, wouldn't take the jab and now has come down with COVID. Should we feel sorry for him???????

I have a hard time feeling sorry for Ted Nugent. He's been an a*****e for many, many years.

Btw I agree there is a concerted effort by the left to create the least informed voting population possible.

I've been calling it The Sewer for several years now.....Welcome to the club! And watch where you step!

President Biden absolutely does NOT have advanced Alzheimer's disease.

"The most common early symptom of Alzheimer's is difficulty remembering newly learned information because Alzheimer's changes typically begin in the part of the brain that affects learning. As Alzheimer's advances through the brain it leads to increasingly severe symptoms, including disorientation, mood and behavior changes; deepening confusion about events, time and place; unfounded suspicions about family, friends and professional caregivers; more serious memory loss and behavior changes; and difficulty speaking, swallowing and walking."

trump had a lot of these symptoms, but you'll deny that fact.

Excellent post! Mr Biden seems well grounded, while Mr Trump speaks of "covfefe" and other strange .... whatevers. Mr Trump also urged "research" into the curative properties of industrial bleach, and of UV light, somehow to be introduced into the body! Good grief! Note his problems descending a gently sloped ramp.
Mr Biden's critics should consider that he is a victim of stuttering, hence his pauses before answering questions. Furthermore Mr Biden thinks before he speaks, a practice alien to Mr Trump.
BTW, its hard to imagine Mr Trump driving Mr Biden's 1967 Corvette Stingray with any competence, let the élan Mr Biden displays! (Ah, to have such a car....)

Future votes: One report I read said that 70 percent of the offspring of illegal migrants vote democratic. By failing to state this fact, the Democrats practice intellectual dishonesty, starting from the top.

Since the offspring of illegal immigrants are, by virtue of being born in the US, citizens they are OF COURSE eligible to vote.

Deflection??? You brought up Trump's voracious ego and adulation from his base. Should I not have brought up those very same qualities about Obama and Biden? Obama truly did have adulation from his base and I brought up an example of that. I disagreed about Trump having any adulation from his base. We simply liked the accomplishments he made for America.

I had thought from your post there would be no cost. You might recall I specifically asked about Billions of dollars spent. Your answer sort of led me to believe each country would just do its best to keep the temperature down by 1.5 to 2 degrees. Then I saw there was a 2 Billion dollar cost to the United Nations. I am curious as to where THAT money, 2 Billion dollars is going to be spent, whose pocket(s) will it go into. Shouldn't everyone be curious as to what that money will be spent on?

We were talking about Trump's abrogating the Paris Accords. Neither Biden nor Obama had anything to do with that, dragging them into the "discussion" was deflection on your part. Certainly Trump reveled in the adoring crowds at his rallies, he is a born huckster and con artist. Neither Obama nor Biden have those "talents," for which we should all be grateful, IMHO.
Certainly an audit of the Green Climate initiative would be in order. In no way did I suggest that each country would "just do its best" to keep the temperature rise 1.5 or 2 degrees, probably Centigrade. Nor did I say or imply that slowing or stopping climate change would be cost-free.

First off you are completely wrong in your comment about Trump’s base. I know you on the Left keep up with that bullshit but still, you are wrong. Will you agree to the exact type of adulation for Obama? After all you surely remember little black kids singing songs of his praises when he was first elected. Remember that? I don’t see it with Biden but then again Biden isn’t a patch on Trump’s ass with regard to accomplishments even after 47 years. Harris is just a dunce without the pointed cap.

OK now that is out of the way what are you talking about, “cost of fighting climate change?” Didn’t you say there was no cost? What am I missing?

Dennis

A little deflection here? We were talking about Trump, weren't we? BTW, I never said that there would be no cost to fighting climate change.

When this first came up I had heard/read that each country was to send HUGE sums of money. I have asked that question numerous times and you are the only person to comment on the cost, or not. If no cost then perhaps you can explain in layman’s terms what the Paris Accord is about. If all is free then why would Trump have pulled out?

Dennis

I imagine that Trump's base objected to the cost of fighting climate change in any meaningful way, and Trump basked in the approval of his base. Their approval fed his voracious ego. Furthermore Trump never seemed to consider the possible long-term effects of his actions, either as "business tycoon" nor as POTUS. Shoot from the hip seemed to be his mantra.
Then too Trump never seemed comfortable dealing with foreign leaders other than dictatorial types such as Putin. Angela Merkel probably really intimidated him -- a woman and holder of a PhD in physical chemistry. Truly a formidable person, to Trump.

Here's a wiki on the US withdrawal. There is mention of a 3 billion "grant" to the Green Climate fund for research. Perhaps that is what you were referring to. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_withdrawal_from_the_Paris_Agreement
Easily found on Google; I'm sure you could find a good explanation of the Paris Agreement on Google.

Essex Camera in New Jersey, famous for its expert repairs and custom fabrication for photographers, was flooded courtesy of Hurricane Sandy in 2012. IRRC a number of NYC businesses were affected, as was the subway system. See this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects_of_Hurricane_Sandy_in_New_York

BTW, it took only a few minutes to find this info. You're quite welcome, Dennis!

Very interesting. I loved reading the comments at the end. The first person stated that everyone accepted climate change except for the Republicans. My exact words, not his. I find it comical that those words were not true then nor are they now. I am a Republican. I believe in climate change. I see it for myself when areas I hunt years ago were covered in snow and today, not so much. Yes there is climate change.

But my belief is that the earth has always been changing and nothing much we mere mortals will do to stop that change. Can anyone tell me the climate was not different millions of years ago? Swamp to ice age etc. Who can tell me the earth is not simply warming again as it has for millions of years. At some point when I won't be here, none of us will, it will most likely cool again.

Democrats want us to send Billions of dollars to the Paris Accord that President Trump dropped out of. I have asked numerous times right here. What will the money be used for? Not one person has supplied an answer. So here we are in America, once again, being asked to pay for a problem that affects the entire planet and apparently nobody has any idea how the money will be used? Research, shooting rockets up into the atmosphere to seed rain clouds, putting cash into some politicians pocket? How??? Yet we are just supposed to send them money. I can't help but wonder if some Nigerian Prince is behind all of this.

"Democrats want us to send Billions of dollars to the Paris Accord that President Trump dropped out of."

Dennis, please furnish evidence that Democrats or any other group in the US intends to send money to the Paris Accord. My impression is that each member of the Accord intends to reach their goal by what means are necessary, and no funds are to be sent to the Accord.

I understand the illegal votes but why would a President invite drugs and sex trafficking into the country? Try this idea on for size.......if you saturate the streets with drugs two things will happen, the price will drop and there will be an escalation of drug use.
