Nice series, artar. I'm pretty sure I've got a book showing what a Howe Truss is and how to analyze all the stresses in all the members of the truss.

Thank you. Some reading for you to do in your spare time ?

For all the PP Guru's
I posted this on SharpShooters topic: "Composition: Lets Talk Sunrise & Sunsets". A couple of guys stated That they thought the shot was good but had so much more potential.
This was shot early morning, last autumn/fall.

I only have Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5. No plugins.

If you care to try and improve it I will enjoy seeing your results. Thanks.

Used CS6. Tried to bring a little of the blue into the sky and water without losing the warmth. Also added a little sharpening and levels adjustment

Hello all, ok so I took this photo this morning and shot RAW. I processed it in both Lightroom and Topaz, DeNoise, Clarity & did a little cloud detail. When I open this photo & just look at it & zoom in the noise does not look bad, so I set it as my desktop background & wow, it looked horrible. So this has never happened when I shot JPEG. Is this something to do with RAW? The first photo below is with additional noise reduction in LR to make it look half way ok as a desktop photo, the second is with out the noise reduction & the third is a print screen of how it looks as desktop photo.
Any thoughts as to why it looks so different?

Are you actually using the RAW image for the desktop or did you export a jpeg for the image?

I am looking for an improved crop on this image which I have had on the Critique forum and some were suggested but it's easier to show a crop than describe it in words! So please show me your crop idea. Also, any other improvements (or experiments) are also welcome. Thanks!

Some changes for you, not necessarily improvements...just different
