I kept wiping the lens cover off as the temp. was 18 degrees-and the lens fog was strong-got a few of the eclipse but the moon was smaller by 11-45 and could not get the blood moon -nice eclipse shot-1 of ten! That could have caused the fog around the moon also.

I am leaning more on my smaller cameras-am able to accomplish my goals with less gear-I think one can shoot manual and get quality shots easier and use the left hand more. whoops hit add attachment too many times-RX 100 sony hand held-

I have the somewhat the same problem I have about 4 seconds to focus and shoot-I'm seeing if the slr's shoot better than the mirrorless which use the LCD screen which seems to take longer to focus and to shoot. Not much but enough for the 3 seconds I need to get the picture.I use a remote trigger also with a tripod for birds which works best -again I have about 3-4 seconds before my tremor starts so I have the camera pre-focused on the feeder and also use the left hand for shooting that. I have about 3 seconds and hold the sony rx100 in the left hand and wait till the last second to push the shutter with the rt. index finger-if I hold the camera with the rt. hand the shake gets to be too much. It's a pain but I still enjoy my photography and also shoot at high shutter speeds and use vr with my lenses . Try supporting the camera with the left hand until pushing the shutter quickly with the right finger. I find I have a second or so to make adjustments with my rt finger between shakes. Hope this might help some. Oh yes I have Parkensons also-

I personally believe that trying to use common editing is making the photo look a bit better-also removing wires etc also is fine- I stop at adding things that were not in the original photo such as a moon or a wolf etc. But that becomes an individual matter. I do think the artist should inform the viewer of the addition.

I take a photo-digital-of the old paper picture-and edit them also-they usually look quite a bit better -then I send the digital copies email to my relatives-asking them which they want copies of- anyway I send them. Sharpening and contrast do wonders for most of the old prints. People seem to just want to look at them today and go back to the Facebook instant feedback approach but we don't take the time to make permanent copies, nor look at them. Cell phones have not helped either. We are an instant culture today. But I really enjoy finding the old photos and showing them to the family for them.

If your shutter speed is that low and iso is 2200-I think it's a great shot-beautiful indoor photograph! Good take!

I'll leave the pure science in reply to you sir as we have the freedom to also give opinions- mine certainly lean toward opinions, but that's the beauty of freedom of speech-you are also free to criticize. Im sure you have the right also. Try to see both viewpoints, critics are a dime a dozen, photography is also an art.

I think too many just shoot digital and don't edit then looks wise -color especially film is more effective but there is the composition shutter speed and iso plus Ap. that make a difference with both mediums. I like to shoot Manual to pre -edit with digital. At 5 MPXL. the look of ccd. seems closest to film. In the earlier sensors in my opinion. If that's your purpose.

I found an Old store which is filled with nostalgia from the 1800's till 1900 located in Florida called the Smallwood Family store-in Chockaloski-sp.- Fl. in the Everglades and the Cypress Gardens National Park. Also near the Rod and Reel Club where Hollywood greats stayed on their wilderness adventures Clark Gable etc. This was before Mr Collier built the bridges from the north. Yes the store still is open. It is back away from the town a bit-follow the signs-from Naples to Marco Island and beyond-go straight It's about 30-40 miles south of Naples-well worth the trip-check hours open on Google.

This is a non scientific answer-I have a friend from Florida-who worked on Kodak printer software-basically he said that the new software reached the film equivalent of film at 25,000 MPXL and they could match it. -He was involved in the tech side of Kodak before they downsized in maybe 1978 or so. This was a tremendous growth for Kodak he said-the software and sensor sizing.Later- Maybe 1990's- this size sensor became available in cameras for purchase.
