Was up near Guardsman Pass in the mountains behind Salt Lake City and captured these Panos. The first two are two panels stitched in Lightroom, the third is 5 shots. Download recommended.

Gobuster: Really neat images. Thanks for getting them to us.

Thanks Dan; one of the great things about UHH is that we get postings from all over the world. I try to do my part whenever I travel and have shots that are worthy of posting!

What a beautiful set. I love all the different angles and perspectives from which you captured the bridge. I have been trying to get up to that area for the past couple of years but it has not worked out so far.

Thanks Andrea. That Twin Falls area is really very nice, my photos were centered around the gorge, falls and bridge, but there are also great photo opportunities in the surrounding area. I filled a 32 gig card with images!

You captured some magnificent landscapes in this set. Very pleasing composition too. The bridge is a challenge because it blends into the horizon. I like the shot from a low perspective because you see the bridge against the sky.

Glad you liked them Carol. The bridge is tough to shoot because they painted it brown, similar to the surrounds. I was lucky to get the side lighting of the setting sun in a couple of shots and the low perspective also did work well, it was almost dark when I took that one!

Nice set! I've been wanting to photograph that every time I drive by Twin Falls but the weather has not cooperated. Always rainy and stormy (past two times have been in the month of May).

Thanks Hacksaw. I've been there before too and never had the good light I was lucky to get on this trip.

A beautiful set, makes me want to re-visit. Very nice compositions and I like your processing.

Thanks Phil. Definitely worth a re-visit, especially if you can be there near sunset on a relatively clear day!

What was the name or address of the restaurant? We usually stay at the SLC Plaza Hotel right next to the Square.

Duh,was it the Roof Restaurant at 15E South Temple?

Indeed, it was the Roof. They do a buffet supper, a bit pricey but the view was worth it! Fortunately I had a rubber lens shade with me and I was able to put my lens against the glass using the rubber to reduce reflections. Without that, the shots would have been difficult or impossible. Thanks for looking, glad you liked my shots.

Was in Twin Falls ID on a beautiful evening and managed to capture some decent shots of the Snake river gorge and bridge there. C & C welcomed.

I was in Salt Lake City and went to a rooftop restaurant at dusk. Managed to get a few shots of the Temple there that seemed worthy of a post.

Wonderful action shots, Gobuster!

Thanks Sue, I'm glad you enjoyed the shots. It was a cloudy day and the tide was going out so the water was not the best color, but there sure was plenty of action. I wanted to get out on the water!
