Aquarium 1/2 full (10 gal aquarium) You need to keep the glass wiped between each shot (I learned this ;)0
Three strobes, one set low (looking up into the aquarium) one shooting straight down and one in camera hot shoe (set to lowest flash setting) and then be glad you are digital...lots of throw away pictures. Oh, I also have a shutter release cord, almost necessary as you have to drop the peppers in and shoot the shot....unless you have an assistant...
Very nice shots. I love pictures taken from under a pier.
Oh I would LOVE to see them some time. Great picture, thanks for sharing.
excellent shots, and the first one looks like he is looking right at you :) love the shot of the one eating! They are all great.
It's just my 'non professional' opinion, but macro...you can see the second hand moving, but the close shot it more like macro...just my opinion...macro can be close up, or dedicated 1:1 lens....and I should probably just keep my opinion to myself, LOL
I had fun (trying to entertain myself) in the garage with an aquarium, water, peppers, and camera.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Holy Cow, that's fantastic !! Really nice work. How did you do that?
It was done in Photoshop, by putting all the pictures on a NEW selection which you design your background, then using 'spherize' on the pictures, cut that out and put on the background.
So beautiful, and majestic is just the right description!
I hate it when they mistreat the animals. They can be so mean. Just because they are big they (the people) think they have to be mean to them to get them to 'mind'. Gurrr.
Yes, the battle was really something. Two ships left and if ours (US Niagara) would have gone down, we would now be under English rule (according to our onboard historian) HENSE the "Don't Give Up The Ship" motto.
Also amazing were the young men on board fighting at 12 years old - many of them...HATED history in school, now I find it interesting....at 72 years old! hahahaha because I have lived through a lot of it---No NOT 1812. LOL
does look like a painting!
hahahaha on the bra tree so funny
I've never been to Australia but it is on my BUCKET LIST :) These pictures are great and love the ones others have added.
I've been off the list for a while but will definitely check back in!
