Of course Bob I tried to take advantage as the sun tried to break through. Thanks for the comment.
Cheers

A quick grab shot Sunday morning, the sun was just trying to get out through the mist.

I guess up here itโ€™ll be lower in the sky this time of year.

By the way, the light behind the tree is not the moon, it's a street light....๐Ÿ˜

[quote=Wingpilot]I do like that shot. I was just amused that the view in that shot is nearly identical to the view from our back porch. Iโ€™m not sure where the moon is this morning, though, as itโ€™s clouded over, or Iโ€™d snap a shot to show you.

Greg[ well in this part of the world we look upwards to see it.....๐Ÿ˜†

Really nice image. It looks like you took that while standing on the back porch of my house. The view is almost exactly the same! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Wingpilot, I'm in the UK, it was just an impulse as I was dragged out of bed early. I had to use a tripod, I think exposure was 1 second at F8, 250 iso. Glad you like it....๐Ÿ˜

This morning my dog Tommy got me out of bed early at 6.50am because he was lonely....
I captured this picture from the rear garden as it looked interesting at the time but I was a little slow as the mist disappeared very quickly

If that picture is a couple of months ago, that must be first-cutting hay. Was wondering whether that hay was inbound or outbound. Doesn't look like an area where one could make that much hay and if it's inbound, for who, don't see any welcoming critters to eat it. Such a simple rural picture, so many questions raised (and the horizon line wasn't mentioned once)... Nice feeling, good job.

Thanks Reuss, well the straw had been stored there for quiet a long time. We walk that way fairly regularly. We were quite surprised to see it being moved out. I asked the driver and he said it was on its way to a Power station to be burned to produce electricity. That was news to me as I assumed they all worked off coal or gas....?

Certainly don't see anything worthy of flames here. Slight lean to the left is easily ignored due to everything else being so good.

thanks captivecookie, it does in fact lean to the left so I don't like to change things just to make them look "right"
The junction at the top where the wagon turns left is on a slight incline as is the path we were walking up.
Thanks for taking the time.

I love farm scenes like this. Hay bales in my youth were 50 to 150 lbs each. Messed up a lot of backs throwing these around. These today bales are so large machines are needed to do the heavy lifting, and so save lots of backs.

thanks Hereford

NOT AT ALL.....fresh air & a stroll in the country farm land is a relief from the stress of all the other stuff.

thanks and yes it certainly does relieve the stress about the nasty stuff happening
