I have seen one Praying Mantis in my long lifetime, it the same week that VE happened and we knew that the war would soon be over. However I still take my camera out every day to look for bugs and things. REJ.

Looking for opinions, be honest, I have thick skin... BTW, this trip was a little different, a lot of haze from what I would call left over wild fire smoke maybe... Just looking for opinions and what I should consider for better composition... Often times, what I see in my mind is not what I after I take the photo... Thanks!

Now that I've had some time to view and process the photos I took on my recent journey through some of California's national parks, and having posted some early results here previously, I thought I'd just toss in a potpourri of shots that came from that trip, but don't fit into any specific theme other than that.

While they look best in download, I had to reduce their overall size to share with other members of my tour group (there's a 5MB maximum file size on their site).

I really like #1. REJ.

Thanks to any and all that look and please let me know what I can do to improve.
