Theyre definitely, some of the better ones. My keeper rate was probably 20 percent, about average. I don't know whether 5d or 7d would be any better, or not.
Hard to believe its half the price of the Canon 100-400 and an extender.
Mike
Thanks, Jim. I appreciate you looking!
Mike
Thanks Cliff, yes the squirrel is my favourite also
Thank, cannoneer, my knowledge in Photoshop, is non-existent, except for a little sharpening, so they pretty well straight out of the camera.
Thank, Mark. It's not bad for the price, that's for sure!
Now that weather has warmed up just a bit, had a chance to go to the local pond, and shoot a few duck.. I was using the 6D. I have to say, I think it was a little slow focusing, although I don't know if you can attribute that to the camera, lens or me. I have the Canon 100-400 as well, but didn't have a chance to compare. I also want to try it with 7d, to see if it is any better. As far as, the IQ I am very happy with the lens.

Fantastic shots, Kelly! I have been looking at the slideshow for 25 minutes, now I'm late for work!
PS: Love the shots of the mill. Postcard material.
Keep it up,
Mike
I am planning a trip in mid February to that area, just wondering if any hoggers in the area, know of any reserves or sanctuaries for birds or wildlife
Thanks in advance
Mike
Thanks everyone for amazing suggestions, now would anyone like to offer to call my boss. and tell him I need a month off, not just 10 days. Haha! So much to see and do. I have been to Joshua tree. But would love to go back!
Thanks again
Mike
I'm planning a trip in about a month including Las Vegas, Phoenix , and possibly the west coast possibly to San Diego / Carlsbad . Just wondering if anybody has any " can't miss photo opportunities". Along the way. I have been doing a lot of reading, and the obvious ones like Hoover dam, Grand Canyon , etc. but just wondering if anyone has any "hidden gems" that they would suggest I go to. I don't mind traveling, and I'll be there about 2 weeks.
Thanks in advance
Mike
Just wondering if anyone has heard of a photography pricing guide for different types work. I realize every market is different, but I was looking for a "ball park" on different jobs.
Thanks in advance
Mike
We have family, at Grasshopper Point, so they get neither!.
Know it well, but the sky never looks like that when I'm on it!!! Haha
Awesome shot Pierre, which lake was it taken on.
