I hope you weren't paid for this, Ias this is a serious subject I will give a serious opinion.
Terrible.
Leaning buildings, glasses and props.
People not looking at the camera.
Over exposed, unsharp and poorly composed.
In fact I would find it hard to say anything positive about any of the photographs here.
People will knock me for being harsh, sorry, you asked for comments.
Like I said before I am learning from my mistakes! Give me a break, NOONE is Perfect!

Sarah Louise, we all have to start somewhere and like you said, you are learning from your mistakes........
I hope you haven't been put off so much as to leave the forum... :-( , as there is plenty of good advice available.
Enjoying your photography is the important thing, if things aren't technically perfect, so what....... :-)

BTW, where in South Wales is Llan yr Afon....?
Most cameras give you the option to shoot in 16:9 ratio. You'll find it in the setup menu. Mine gives the option to shoot in 3:2 or 16:9. Hope this helps....!
robbygb and angler - many thanks. I would love to get out more, but this little thing called work keeps getting in the way......! Will post some more as soon as I can...... ;)

What lens did you use?
Sony is a good choice.
I used a Sigma 28-105mm f2.8 (aspherical), that I got secondhand for £75 - about $100, I think.
