Now that spring is here the birds seem to be adding richer
color to attract their mates. The Indigo Bunting is a new comer
to our yard and is sticking around using the feeder. The Moth was drying it's wings.

One of the signs that spring is here for sure is my Japanese
Cherry blooming. I caught this Cardinal hiding and waiting
to go to the near by feeders. mdh

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Here are a few shots taken at the Edwin B Forsythe Wildlife Refuge in New Jersey. It is one of met favorite places for wildlife. It is an eight mile loop around the marshes. Going this weekend, hope to get some good shots, the osprey should be nesting!

A fantastic shot of the Blue Heron, they are all good but to me
it is special. I have shot many many different poses of them but
I have not seen that one. Thanks a lot for sharing it will keep
me on my toes as I observe the many ones we have here.

This sequence was taken at Lockwood Canyon about 10 miles east of Reno where the hillsides are turning green and attracting bands of wild horses. I hope it brings a smile to your face, as it did mine.

Very well done, I don't know what it is but I believe it has a
