I don't know if you can crop the image so the birds are on the 1/3 left sector. It appears that moving right would be blocked by a bush/terrain. I wonder if you had moved left if you couldn't have the birds towards the left sector and still captured the foreground fallen tree trunk. What were the TV, A, ISO settings? You captured a wonderful, peaceful setting!

Fantastic! I took images of an eclipse but achieved far less detail. Used 200 MM with 2x teleconverter on a 7D Canon. My effort is like making an image of Moby Dick and getting a minnow!
