I really like the moody, somber feeling in "Now the Day is Over" Speaks to me of a man tired from a hard days work, taking comfort in the good book. I like the painting look as well.
I want one because of the viewfinder. That's it. I'm very happy with my pen E-pl5 which basically has the exact same sensor as the OMD e-1 but 1k less. I wear bi-focals and it gets pretty difficult for me to fine-tune focus. What's really useful is the touch screen.
The viewfinder is really nice and adjustable so I don't use my glasses but use my left eye so my nose kind of interfered with the touch screen so I turned it off. The E-M5 is very customizable and that's really handy.
Santa brought my new e-m10. I am very happy with it. Took about 40 shots walking around the neighborhood in P mode using the kit lens. They all look real good. I've been working on learning the menu system and how to make all of the camera settings I want. It was a little difficult for me to understand how to operate the menu system, but once I understood how it operates, it is pretty easy to use. It also took me a while to figure out that the Super Control Panel is for EVF mode and you have to press OK to get it active. I am now trying to figure out how to get the touch screen auto picture taking mode to work. It did work. Some how I got into touch screen focus only mode. This will be a great camera for me. I wonder, is it even possible for a camera to have more operational options?

I have an E-M5 and bought David Busch's book on it and have been having fun with it. The menus take some time to figure out but you'll get there.
I shoot primarily with a Canon 70D and a Canon 15-85 lens. I like the setup, but I'm searching for something lighter. I'm considering a Sony Alpha A7II, with a FE 28-70mm OSS Lens kit lens. Should I be please with this purchase? Anything else I should consider, such as an Olympus OMD 5 (?) camera which has a 4/3 sensor but has received wonderful reviews on UHH and elsewhere? Why am I even considering another purchase???
I'm an amateur of some 40 years. I primarily shoot grandchildren, landscapes and travel.

I have been shooting with Nikons for years but recently got an Olympus OM-D E-M5 to give it a whirl and really like it. The smaller size with the lighter weight made it attractive along with the smaller lenses, what's not to like? Have been happy with mine and it takes great pictures when I do my part.
