I do like seeing these >1:1 captures. As for the bug, I would have guessed female heather fly, but I'm not sure if you get them your side of the water. All my googling just brings up UK.

In the sping I had hundreds of ladybirds going at it on the hedge, I still have not found a single nymph this year or any eggs.
