I am an amateur photographer looking to promote my work through the internet. I am not a portrait photographer but more scenic. In my city, I do several exhibitions (typically in coffee shops) throughout the year where my work is on display and can be purchased.
Ive been looking for a webpage builder, and tried a few such as Esty and Squarespace, but neither were exactly what I envisioned. I want to set up a Website that is around $10 15 to start per month to start out with, with the option of upgrading my plan in the future if I need to. I dont want any long-=term commitments. Below are a few things that I would like to have the option for:
(*) = High Priority.
1. I want to use my desired website title for my website
2. *I want to use my pen name.
3. *I want unlimited space, or the ability to upgrade to more space, to add new photos*
4. *I want to be able to have separate folders on my website for different subjects such as Landscapes Flowers Animals Black and White, etc.
5. I want to be able to be creative with the layout and occasionally change the background.
6. I need a website that would be easy for me to upload and/or delete photos on my own like Facebook.
7. I want an easy way to watermark each photo.
Anyone with suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,
chad
I know very little about RAW, so will RAW+JPEG allow me too work in the JPEG mode? I do very little editing; just brighten, sharpen vibrant and fill flash. Will using RAW+JPEG take up a lot more space on my camera chip?/
I appreciate the suggestions!
I am a young adult with Cerebral Palsy who has a strong passion for the camera. Tomorrow I am doing a photoshoot of a young couple with their 16 mo old daughter. Due to having limited use of one arm, I don't have a SLR. However I have a Canon Powershot SX50 which is the best point n shoot you can buy.
My main question is what settings such as ISO, white balance, flash should I use. I never like to put my camera on auto. Tomorrow is suppose to e overcast but 85. I've learned the hard way that I can't zoom in too much or half the picture will be cut off after printed.
In a few days I am shooting my candles, hoping to form a natural black background. From previous replies, I've learned to use the lowest ISO my Canon Powershot SX50 allows, and not use flash.
I am just guessing the room in which I am shooting in needs to be fairly dark to get a black background? Do I need to put an actual black backdrop behind the lit candles? Would the garage be the best? For obvious reasons, I don't want to get too close to the candles, but I have a 50X zoom. Also, my camera doesn't have a candle auto function, but would the fireworks function work?
I am an amateur photographer that will soon do a shot with 3 candles indoors. I don't use an SLR due to being physically disabled, but I love my Canon Powershot SX50. I am wondering what ISO, shutter speed, white balance settings would my camera need to be if I wanted a completely black background with the candles? Should I shoot in an darkened area of the house, or would the garage be better since it's not bright? Do I use my flash?
I do very little photo editing by personal choice I don't own a fancy photo editing program.
I know I can do it as I've done it before (see attached photo) but forgot how.
Thanks,
Chad
