Epson P800 Surecolor printer is not printing colors shown on monitor. I calibrated monitor twice with XRite iPro and using the ICC profile for the particular paper that I'm using from Red River Paper. Whites come out off white or kind of a very light gray and the other colors are a bit dull maybe a very very slight tint of magenta. Any tips on what steps to try to remedy this dilemma? To make a print come out looking like what was on monitor I had to really brighten photo up almost blowing out whites. Thanks in advance for any remedy to the problem.

Good point. Best I start with all new inks just to make sure.

I wouldn't discard the ink cartridges that come with the Pro 10. They are vacuum-sealed and will work just fine. just give them a light shaking before you install them. I've used lots of expired OEM cartridges from eBay and have never had a problem.

Try rebooting your modem/router by pulling the power cord for about thirty seconds. Plug it back in and allow it to restabilize before trying another print.

Unfortunately, what he sent was the picture, not the mug. I've no idea how to get one.

You can find that mug here.

Wow! Lots of information and critical input. Many thanks. :)

I wouldn’t put a lot of trust in some of the things that you are being told here. Go here and watch this guy’s videos if you really want to learn more about printers and printing.

Sorry, dude, but your comment could've used a proof reader; it's "could HAVE used …"

You should consider a proofreader. You couldn't even get my wording right when you tried to correct me.

An obituary that could of used a proofreader; born august 30 1949. Virgil joined the United States Army at a young age where he proudly served his country during the Korean War.

I met the author many years ago, about 1984. Unfortunately I met him while he was incarcerated at a Federal Prison Camp located on Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. I do not recall the reason he was there, but I do know he was respectful and considerate. He was not in the least bit arrogant or conceited, just a normal, basically good man who made a mistake and paid his dues.

I've never read his book but have often wished I had. Maybe I'll get it and read it soon.

Wilhelm Research tested the Epson Eco inks and found them to be inferior compared to other tested dye inks.
