I dropped mine off at a local well known Co. and they send all there work out, i know they use one place in Ct. but they sent mine to Nikon because it was worked on there last year. They fixed it for free because they did not do it right the first time, nor the second time for that matter. It still takes forever with Nikon as they blame it on the floods they had over year ago. I just had my D7000 there for repair now that i think about it, i am not happy with that repair either, it was the off/on switch did not work right. Two months to fix it but they over looked another problem. Not happy with them

I went North to Maine last spring hoping to see my first Moose, which i found and got some great pictures.. I then set my sight on finding a Moose with a full grown rack. I went up to the North Maine Woods for a few days hoping to find one and i was not there for five minutes and this guy showed up. I know it is not tack sharp but it was raining and this guy did not want to hang around. If you blow it up a bit you can see the hair on the back of his neck standing up. I like it.

I also have a 82 mm lens, it is the sigma 24-70 a great lens and have several filters for it including the Cokin. I also just today bought another pro master 82 mm Variable lens which i love but dropped my first in a pond had it out in five minutes but the dirt got in between the glass and it is junk, sorry i am rambling.

just a thought, check out Iowa80.com it is a truck stop with the worlds largest chrome shop. I was atone of there truck stops last night looking at some Diamond plate tool boxes that go between the frame of a truck; they are maybe 2x3x1 might just work for the truck of a car

I just picked up a Hoodman eye cup on Ebay, it was recommended by some friends who said it worked great on blocking out the light. Only $20.00

I live on the Ocean, and only 1 1/2 hrs. from P-Town and have never been on a Whale watch, some day i hope. I have been to P-Town once and will be back there next month myself with a group on a photo trip. There are a million great shot's down there.

Yea, funny you speak of China. Our great great grandchildren will be slaving to pay off the billions this community activist has borrowed from China. Oh yea, forget the millions we pay in interest every month. mitt was a pretty good gov. and tried to do a lot in this state but, the Dem's. kept his hands tired pretty tight. Like the time he wanted to make FAT people get jobs and work to get them off welfare. No way would they make those people work, let them stay home on the couch eat there Twinkies and watch T V on our dime. Some like an Obuma move .

I bought one a couple of months go for my D7000, love it I bought one of the new all in one N D F's and got some great water fall pics with it. Then i droped the new $250.00 filter in the lake last trip up Maine.Filter is junk but the lens is awesome. I shot this picture the other night with it.

The first one i was about three hundred feet, had a couple i was only about tenty feet when they walked out of the bush but was not ready so they are not very sharp.
