Thought I would share some lens reversal pics some that might be new to photography might find it interesting and fun. You can purchase a lens reversal ring off of ebay or any photo store it has to macth your filter size of your lens you put your lens on backwards and focus by moving the camera back and forth. Just some fun stuff .

A few years ago a couple of photographers and myself was talking about nature photography and the importance of patience and one said lets see who can capture a fly with the lens reverse ( I know the karate kid and the chop sticks) try it. It is not as easy as it looks and the fly can't be dead. Let me know if anyone else has done it.

this fly was sunning on the back porch lens reversed manual focus

I do weddings too. 14 so far this year and 3 more before the year's end I have not had any complaints on my prints from any of the jobs. For the past five years I have used Sams Club for all my prints and have the same lady that works there do them the only time I had a problem was once during a Christmas rush at the store the prints didn't seem to be as rich as usual they reprinted them for me and they were fine I am not sure if they have a quick print mode they might had been using during the rush but other than that they have been great. I have tried mpix shutterfly and ritz but didn't like them. I do have 4 printers but they mainly sit idle unles I just want to do one or two prints. Ok I am going to get all kinds of reply about this but I am just being honest.

been thru the same thing move the subject futher away from the screen and adjust the lighting the lighter and shiner the hair the more the green will reflect on it mainly you have to play around with it chroma key is not easy to use but the results can be amazing good luck

I shoot all my weddings with my 60d it is by far the best camera I have owned you are going to discover the video is great too the camera is light compared with the others I have shot with. It might be because I am old but the weight makes a difference to me after hours of having it around my neck your shots are great keep playing with it and you will have a great time with it.

Great shot may I ask what program you used to merge with? In fact me and my wife went to a machine gun shoot for our honeymoon. Don't know which I like the most shooting my guns or shooting with my camera. Again fantastic picture.

the mill was was not a HDR in fact it was a old point and shoot the Photo matrix program did all the contrast and colour it was a one button push effect. I was amazed myself In fact I don't share that with everyone LOL . I sent two more here done with the same camera and they are my biggest sellers right now at a gallery that sells my prints. I took these between my film days and digital, now I shoot with all digital and dslr.

Hang in there my first football pictures were awful and I was so frustrated that I said I would never shoot a football game again. Then to top it all off people around me with point and shoots (the $59.00) ones looked better than mine. The lens is not the problem even though a $1200.00 would help you don't need it unless you are making big money off your work. I would suggest a tripod or mono pod to steady your camera. Go to a higher ISO and shot wide and crop. I sent one of mine with the camera settings but mine are far from being perfect. This picture was early evening night youj need a higher ISO

canon 50D focal length 70mm f4 Iso 640 exposure auto exposure 1/800 sec

I had the same problem and could not aford a fast zoom lens at the time. One trick you might try is to shoot a wider shot and crop later, as you zoom in the lens get slower. you might even use the kit lens.and don't worry about zooming at night. Of course if you are a sports photographer and are getting paid for your shots it would be worth the investment for a fast lens. my 2 cents Dave
