And I am loving this camera! It has the same sensor as the D5 and processing engine of the D1. It doesn't have the 5 axis IS of those two, but the 3 axis IS it does have does a pretty good job. It does have a built in flash and wifi that my smart phone can use to control the camera and download pics to it.
I am attaching 3 pics I shot with it yesterday when downtown. the 1st 2 were taken in an antique store the 3rd was shot outside. I had the camera setup in P and auto ISO as I wanted to see how the camera handled noise in high ISO shooting. I am very pleased as the 2 inside shots were taken at ISO 1600. All shots are JPEGs straight out of the camera with no PP done to them except for resizing.
Hi, my name is Will, I live in the Shenandoah Valley in Va.
I have been into photography since the late 70s, starting out with a Pentax K1000.
Got into digital photography in the mid 90s with a Ricoh camera that only had VGA resolution. Cameras have come a long way since then!
I now have 4 DSLRs, 3 M4/3s, 2 bridge, a few P&S and a Pentax Q camera.
I mostly do outdoor, nature and macro photography, but also do some other kinds of shooting as well. When it comes to doing people photography I mostly take photos of my 3 year old grand daughter as she is very photogenic.
