Oh that is a good one Steve....
Can I share my barn???? Nothing special to others but I grew up next to this barn, as the youngest of 10 kids (probably why the barn looks so worn now). Spent many days playing there under a big old tree which grew right beside the barn. On the left you can still see the backstop where my brothers had a basketball goal. My dad was a sharecropper and I spent a lot of time crawling around in a trailer of cotton parked inside the barn. And of course back then the cotton was picked by hand. A very special old barn to me. Ok, enough reminicing....
Love all of the old barn pictures.
Love the second one. Would look great matted and in a frame.
She seems to have overdosed on Sparkling Grape Juice on New Years Eve.
My granddaughters 6 week old dog Hershey.
There were an unusual number of jets in the sky that day. I didn't try photoshopping them out. I'll have to try it and see what it looks like. Thanks.
She has many sides from playing ball with the boys to a beautiful dancer. But always a clown....
Love the colors in the third one.
This isn't Reelfoot Lake, but close. This was taken at Big Oak State Park near East Prairie, MO. This area was under water when they blew up the levee during the flooding last spring. It is back to normal now and a perfect place to watch a sunset.
The bee is on the hummingbird feeder. They always find them at the end of the summer.
This is my granddaughter the first year she played co-ed T-ball. I love this picture because she looked so serious about playing ball with the boys. To me she reminded me of Peppermint Patty from the Peanuts characters. She played the part on the field too.....
This squirrel, who was sneaking a green tomato, seems to be eating all his food instead of storing it for winter. A very fat squirrel....
I'm not a professional but have always loved taking pictures. Now that I am retired I find it fascinating looking for things to photograph, but love nature and scenery subjects best with the exception of my grandkids.
