Gentlemen, thank you for your responses and generosity in spending time on me. I must admit, that I am unable to ask the question right way . So, please be patient w/me.
1. Yes, I agree, I am not ready for RAW....yet
2. I am happy with the quality of Jpeg as done by camera for now
3. I did not use any PP software
4. I know, I can shoot both RAW +JPEG
5. BUT , I tried avoiding the overload of storage
6. I shot RAW & PEG and tested if I can avoid PEGs by storing RAW for the future maybe, and avoid PP software today ...still getting IN CAMERA processing to get a nice pegs.
7. I understand pictures on LCD are slightly processed RAW
8.I have checked the outcome on computer to see the difference.
9. I tried to set the IN-CAMERA RETOUCH parameters to process IN CAMERA RAW into Pegs and have the same outcome as if I shot an extra JPEG

And one more question - If I shoot the RAW format ..do I really need bracketing? I thought the PP software can do this lighter/darker tweak.

Thank you M

This may be a repeat, however, last time I did not get the answer I would like to know. I shoot RAW+Jpeg. Then I can see both in review. If I generate a Jpeg from Raw IN CAMERA.....they are different.
Does anybody know how to make them the same? The settings ? I have shot it with setting camera to reset and take a picture. When in Retouch menu, I did not play with anything in NEF(RAW)processing....but I have notices sharpening and more light added. I JUST WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE PARAMETERS TO USE- set in retouching.
Thank you Miro

I am new to everything @ age of 65...but I have shot a control picture with Nikon D7100 and my Jpeg was better than Jpeg made in camera from the RAW.... as somebody mentioned here before (was not sure if it was the modification thru the Lightroom or by camera).
IN MY EXPEXTATION those 2 pictures should be the same . It is one shot of digital data and jpeg made from it (sooner or later by the same machine), right?. Why I need to know? I thought I will shoot everything in RAW and those pics I like transfer to jpegs w/o use of fancy editor .I will do RAW w Lightroom manipulation later ...maybe @ age of 75.
Thank you for the input
